wait I misread your second last paragraph I thought u said 'if HJP finds out the truth' and assumed u were talking about what NDS and SDM did at the morning blah CEO dude's office lol sorry but yeah nah I definitely agree, the truth revelation is probably going to be the reason for the time skip

I'll be incredibly shocked if HJP doesn't call dosan and dalmi out for what they did when he's constantly telling them off for their naivity lol it would be completely out of character if he lets it go

also I don't know how I feel about dosan getting miffed at jipyeong for being too emotionally invested in dalmi and their business and isn't keeping things professional when he's literally doing the exact same thing with dalmi except its worse because it's mutual and their whole relationship is built of a big fat lie lmao.... unless dosan isn't actually getting miffed but is just feeling a bit insecure and threatened by jipyeong's growing feelings for dalmi.....idk nothing is gonna feel right until she finds out tbh

I don't necessarily blame NDS for having to go along with the lie but I can't see myself getting invested in their relationship until SDL finds out that her first love is actually HJP and stops comparing the two....the entire situation is making me borderline uncomfortable

can you give me an example of a drama where both main leads had a platonic relationship? I personally cant think of any but I'd be really interested in watching one where they manage to do successfully :0

completely agree with everything you said lol I don't really like the love triangle aspect of this drama because I love Ji pyeong so much and I really don't want to see him hurt. I don't think I want him to end up with dal mi though because he had (and tbh still has) many chances to pursue Dal mi but he denied all of them. Like you said, I hope he views Dal mi as more of a campion during difficult and lonely times and someone who's incredibly important to the person who is (probably) the most important to him and he's mistaking or confusing those platonic feelings with romantic feelings. I feel like he might feel a little indebted to Dalmi herself, especially after he found out she didn't end up going to college idkidk I just don't want him getting too hurt

trigger warning to anyone planning on watching this !! there are suicide attempts and a character with suicidal thoughts (I've only watched 2 episodes so far though but thought I'd mention it here just in case)

I agree with everything you said but that's exactly why Hye-jun wasn't very interesting for me. He was made out to be the perfect man and even thr few flaws he had was never highlighted or acknowledged. but anyways bogum's character isn't why I wish he chose another role. I just think he could've portrayed whatever character he chose better in any other drama because the writer for this one was so bad. I personally (and evidently a lot of other people too) didn't feel an emotional connection to any of the characters because we never really watched them grow as people and idk it just wasn't engaging. I'd rather bogum go out on a hiatus with a bang and this show didn't do that for me
