More apt name for this is Low Energy
Honestly, I really wanted to hate this series. Yet, I did not and actually came to enjoy it. This is one of the few BLs where the screenplay did not fail the series, but everything else did. And I do mean everything else. Surprisingly, there are some very good poignant moments in this chaotic, nonsensical series that kind of, sort of, in a way made it enjoyable to watch. This is a low-energy love story. I would never watch this again. It is a one and done for me. It should be retitled Low Energy rather than Low Frequency. Its remembrance will be the screenplay. It is impressive. Was this review helpful to you?
Initially Disjointed but Becomes Likeable!
This is a triumvirate story that in the beginning is unnecessarily confusing, obtuse, and almost misleading. Little explanation is given as to who these characters are or what is happening, and the story becomes awkward and needlessly opaque. So many characters are introduced all at once, especially in the first two episodes, that fatuity tends to confuse the audience. The flow of the story becomes disjointed, particularly when you are trying to grasp the nuances not only of the story but the familiarity of the culture and customs that is not fully appreciated. It does settle down in the third episode and from then on, the sagas of each couple become unique and interesting and understandable. I loved two of the three couples; the third couple was a bit more disconcerting for me. It felt darker and more brooding than the other two. This is a likeable series, entertaining with humor and cheekiness to make just about anyone smile. Was this review helpful to you?
Adorable actors; lousy storyline
This series was disconcertingly uncomfortable to watch and got to the edge of being an entertaining story, but never reached there. Overall, it suffered, as most Thai BLs as of late do - the essence of not being honest, straightforward, or communicating directly. The obtuseness of the message is the means to a plot to a story. Saying what one means only lies through innuendo, sprinkled sparingly with humor. Thus, the story becomes a bore and only creates more unnecessary problems. You can read my full review at BLBliss.com.

Another BL With NO Communication!
The idea behind this series is creative, original, and noteworthy. And its execution has elements of brilliance, poignancy, and also agonizing frustration that in a few spots I threw a proverbial rock at the screen. Why? Because it is the same issue over and over in these series, especially Thai BL series. COMMUNICATION! To be more precise, exchanging information in a clear and precise manner forthrightly. If this had been done near the beginning of this story, we could have had a real classic on our hands. Instead, it became yet again another ‘safe’ Thai BL series with a good premise but less than memorable delivery and a whole lot more angst than is absolutely necessary. You can read my full review of this series at BLBliss.com.

More Complex Story Than Realized
This is a more deeply complex story than is initially projected. At first glance, it felt too laid back and gets lost ironically in the shortness of its story. Much ends up being interpretative. There is nothing romantic about this series. It is not a BL in the classic sense of the term. I had an epiphany and suddenly I understood their commitment to each other. The two of them found contentment with each other. They are happy with each other. Since both are complimenting each other and both find solace and a kind of ‘love’ in each other, it is a relationship like no other. Not understood by us and perhaps should not be.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the Best!
I was remiss in not reviewing this in 2022. If I had, I would have picked this as one of the best BLs for that year. This was an astonishing well-thought-out series, unique in its approach and so beautifully acted. Well done and memorable! So, this series ends uniquely. Both as a GL and a BL. Which is as it should be. I do believe this series got overlooked, perhaps because of its overt fantasy theme but it is so well blended together that It completely mesmerized me. It almost fell into the trap of 'falling for the person and not the gender' nonsense' but did not and righted itself which was commendable. I applauded this series for being honest. PERFECTION!
Rarely does something comes along that I thing comes close to being perfect. But this is it. Sure, One can nitpick issues here and there with it, but overall, this is a fine BL series this is near perfection because of its quiet reflection about life. It takes the age old issue of youthful ignorance and turns it around into something of a Cinderella story, if you permit me to use that metaphor. The acting in this series is excellent. It never goes over the top and is never so overly dramatic that it spells over to becoming emotionally twisted. It is perfect for the occasion and is so genuine and real. In other words, this series has no artificiality to it which is so refreshing. This series is worthy of your attention. You can read my full review at BLBliss.com.

It's Like Eating a Nothing Burger
One can call this BL series cute, soft, and slightly entertaining. A nice entertainment escape story. Not deep of course, and not very memorable but nice for the moment. Its story is simple, basic, and frankly, boring. A couple of distractions made this series less impactful for me. Frankly I did not understand the point of this series. It is barely romantic. The kissing scenes were insulting, and obviously badly rehearsed. What distracted me from this series are two things. This series has no depth to its story or its characters. Secondly, we have yet another example of a BL series unwilling to commit itself to showing ‘love’.Was this review helpful to you?
Three love stories but only one is impactful
I do not know what drew me to watch this series. Perhaps it was the synopsis of three gay couples featured and frankly this series was a bit under the radar. But I am glad I watched it. Certainly, this series was a mixed bag both in terms of emotions and story content. It matured and seasoned well towards the end except for one major flaw. Its editing left a lot to be desired. The story jumped and ebbed and flowed without a lot of consistency especially in its time jumps. The story became very uneven then. The love story between Dome and Vee is the one worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
Enjoyable, but don't know why
In a weird way, I enjoyed watching this series. It never gets deep. The plot is tropey and you feel like you are watching a Thai BL rather than Korean. Yet it is fun to watch. The subject matter was creative but they did not explore it enough. The actors seemed to have a better sense of who their characters were when they fought; but when they were not, the lines felt like they were merely reading them. Did not see a whole lot of chemistry between them. That might be due to a pretty standard script. If there is a Season 2, I hope they get deeper into who these two characters are on a deeper level. Was this review helpful to you?
A prosaic story about love
This is a bit of an unusual BL story that frankly I am not sure that I 'got' it. That does not make it bad; just a bit confusing. It is like watching Romeo and Juliet minus the death scene of course. They speak not as teenage boys but like they are performing in a theater-in-the-round. It is a rather enjoyable series to watch as it is so different even if I did not quite understand it. I was perplexed by it all yet completely taken in by the charm and oddly soft passion with each other. As I watched this series, I felt inexplicably somber. You can review my complete thoughts on this series at BLBliss.com.

It's the supporting roles that steal this series
Honestly, I found nothing dynamic about Earth and Mix's performances and they do not steal this series. They have done this before. Who steals this series is Fourth and Gemini. They are so solid and believable and I want them to have a whole series on just their incredibly real relationship. Unfortunately, this series went off into inane and empty directions that it did not need to do. Only for the sake of theatrics and not story telling. Also First did an incredible job in playing a rather small part but did so with complete conviction. He added quite a dimension to that role so kudos! Was this review helpful to you?
A Brilliant Series But....
This astonishing and brilliant series was so refreshing to watch and was one of the most thought-provoking series I have ever seen. It is a cacophony of every imaginable social ill, bias, and societal message one could think of. And all of it was dealt with a sense of maturity, honesty, and painful growing up stages to go through. However, where it fell flat was the ending. That was so disappointing and did not fit the overall theme of this series. In addition, it did not tackle a major issue that which became glossed over. Was this review helpful to you?
A story that is uneven
This BL series is all over the map, literally. It centered yet again around soul-swapping which is close to becoming a trope. It is also filled with a bunch of down-right awful people. Some even malicious and bordering on murderous. There is also a saint or two and at least one abuser who then sees the errors of his ways. The story is quiet but uneven and becomes a bit cliché. It has some good moments of self-discovery though. The one other thing that was exacerbating was the unnecessary need to make communication so obtuse. Why can't you say what you mean? Entertaining enough overall though. Was this review helpful to you?
Exceptional and Phenomenal
Sometimes, something comes along that completely moves you to rethink your life. And this is one of these programs that gets you to do that. It is an exceptional BL series that has a cast of characters that make you want to believe in love again. It is almost Shakespearean in design and forces you to think about your own mortality. Not all of the cast of characters are good but this series forces you to redefine how you might see 'bad' people. The story seems mundane in the beginning but it goes to new heights and its journey to the end is so real. Yet, it ends in love.Read my full review of this marvelous series at BLBliss.com.
