A Romp Through Boredom
For me, this was a disappointing side story from UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. That was one of my favorite BLs ever and so it is hard to recapture any magic from that series. There were a few references to it but it is essentially a story that stands on its own. It started out well but then droned on and on into just another Thai BL series. There were some good acting in this series and the whole issue of guilt for perhaps contributing to an accident was handled with sensitivity. That was a painful chapter in anyone's life. Manow steals this series and I just adored her characterizations. Sure, she is sometimes over the top but that who Manow is and good for her. These long belabored recountings in Thai BLs to show love is really getting old. This same theme has been done over and over. Was this review helpful to you?
Just Missed Being Memorable
There is such a natural rhythm to this series, and I have to admit that all the performers were top notch. I applaud their level of comfort in showing us the love scenes with naturalness and intensity. They were not afraid to show us that they were in love, and I felt like they meant it. This is a remarkably impactful series that just missed being profoundly memorable. We needed to see, feel, and know the pain of being raped, physically abused and psychologically tortured from an early onset so we could feel it on a deeper level. Do not be afraid to take it one step further. There was a deeper message here. Show it all. But I applaud this series for the progress that has been made. I was deeply moved. I sobbed a lot in the last episode of this series. Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting Premise but Felt Rushed
It is hard to dislike this cute but rather short series. It absolutely is all fluff with very stilted love scenes. But there is something enticing about the story. I am, admittedly, a sucker for continuing love stories reincarnated from the past if you will. And this is one of those stories. There is an odd mixture of characters in here that make it entertaining for sure and had it been longer, they could have expanded on the story and made these characters more interesting and entertaining. Interestingly when it reverts to the past, it becomes a way more interesting story and better acted. Was this review helpful to you?
Exceptional and Phenomenal
Sometimes, something comes along that completely moves you to rethink your life. And this is one of these programs that gets you to do that. It is an exceptional BL series that has a cast of characters that make you want to believe in love again. It is almost Shakespearean in design and forces you to think about your own mortality. Not all of the cast of characters are good but this series forces you to redefine how you might see 'bad' people. The story seems mundane in the beginning but it goes to new heights and its journey to the end is so real. Yet, it ends in love.Read my full review of this marvelous series at BLBliss.com.

Great Screenplay; Not So Great Execution
If you are merely listening to this series, it is really good. The screenplay is good and the dialogue between the various couples is spot-on and relevant. Unfortunately, they added acting to this. I cannot say it was bad acting, as I do think they were told to be this laid back and have such a flat affect. With that in mind, there is zero chemistry between any of the major couples and I did not for one second believe they were in love. Also, the music is absolutely atrocious. It is painful to listen to it. Off key, drumming too loud, not in sync with the singing and the singing felt unrehearsed. Was this review helpful to you?
A Solid and Well Acted Series
Undoubtedly, this is a solid and well acted series of a longitudinal love story. It is the screenplay that let this story fall apart a bit. Some of the finest 'parting' scenes from any BL is in this series. Also some of the most intense emotional scenes are in this series as well. But they got a bit over used, however. This was a good series but I wanted it to be great. It just never got there? Why? Well, for me it was the lack of maturity in the development of their relationship as well as the lack of a series intensity to it. These guys were soulmates; I wanted to feel that, sense that, and see that. It got close but never reached a pinnacle for me. However, it is still a very enjoyable series. You can read my full review of this series at BLBliss.com.

Under The Radar Gem
Honestly, I do not think this production knew what a gem it had on its hand. If they did, they would have beautified this story and made it into an epic love story of two different loves – of intimacy and friendship. Indeed, it is a beautiful story that never reached its full potential but it is still an exceptionally well crafted series. Why? Because it has integrity and shows compassion for a friend in pain. A highly principled series that shows the integrity of ethical and moral behavior. Was this review helpful to you?
A Great Series with an Unnecessary Scene
Overall, this is an astonishingly well-acted series with a strong ensemble cast and perfect rhythm and timing that makes the dialogue feel natural and original. I know perhaps this is my pet-peeve and I also know that the characters are young and lack boundaries but I simply cannot take physicality as a way to solve your frustrations, jealousies, or anger towards another. .Especially in BL series that are supposed to be enhancing and trying to gain acceptance, tolerance, and understanding from people who do not embrace and 'see' us. Production companies need to be more cognizant of the message they are sending out there. We have to be different and we have to lead.Honestly, this really is one of the better BLs for the year 2022 but fell in stature from just that one scene. So unfortunate.

Romantic, Sweet, with Underlying Pain
This indeed is a sweet, romantic series with an underlying and underpinning story of a great deal of pain. It was not fully addressed with then leaves the story incomplete. I know it is a romcom but it screamed out the underlying issues with all couples. Regret. The overall story is good and it will give you a certain sense of joy and satisfaction to watch. Yet, for me, I could see that not all was well. I just wish they had addressed those issues more effectively and intensely.

One For The Ages
Now this is how you do a coming-of-age series. This is brilliant. While the story may not be unique, it is carried out as if it is the first one ever done. It should set a standard on how you do a coming-of-age story with flair, grace, and intensity. What made it so? Two things. A brilliant and phenomenal screenplay. Neither schmaltzy nor overly dramatic. But kept it real. And the second reason is the astonishing and brilliant acting of the four main performers. They understood the characters and with youthful intensity made them come alive and scream First Love to us. This is a first rate series and should be on everyone's Must See for 2022.See my full review of this series on my website, BLBliss.com.

Simply a Masterpiece
I really hate using the term masterpiece as it is so overused but in this case, it is complete warranted. It is a phenomenal and breathtaking view of the ugly underbelly of the sex trade industry. There is some brilliant and breathtaking acting in this series that had me weeping at times uncontrollable. If you are expecting some banal BL, then move on. This is not it. It is presented as a docudrama and it is so creative. It is scripted but seems so real. This is not for the faint of heart and if you are sensitive, this will be difficult. Another warning: bring lots of tissues. You will need them. I sure did.You can read my full review of this brilliant series at BLBliss.com

An Avant Garde Romp
If you take the time to observe this short series, it is brilliant. This series is an Avant Garde romp through a mystical journey of love. The ending is perplexing but gives us a sense of enchantment and a harmonious closure. It shows that while they had little time to foster a relationship, what time they had together was spent in doing what they both loved to do, and in their own way. To watch this, you must free your mind of conventional thinking and go into the realm of esoteric thinking about love. Was this review helpful to you?
A Hot Mess
This BL series is a ‘hot mess’. The story makes no sense, the translations even less sense, and the characters are merely caricatures. Yet, I enjoyed it. Well, not all of it, but parts of it, especially the end. What made this enjoyable is the characters were just so cute, adorable, and had pleasant dispositions about them, that it was hard to dislike them. While it bills itself as a romantic-comedy, I found very little of it funny; amusing perhaps on occasion. Some scenarios were simply down-right perplexing. Sadly, this is a ‘throw-away’ series that could have been fun but became only mildly amusing. I did not hate it for sure, as the end was rather compelling. Was this review helpful to you?
Good, Just Not Remarkable/Memorable
Perhaps I am in the minority here with this series. While it is enjoyable to watch, it just is not memorable. But something felt missing for me. Maybe it was its too clean and polished production. It was too cute and a bit saccharin sweet for me. It just did not seem real to me. I also found the characters wooden and we honestly did not get to know them. Overall, this series for me was forgettable and had little impact on me. Its production was too unfocused, and the plot too predictable. Although this series is good, it just is not consequential or remarkable. Was this review helpful to you?
Falls Flat
What can you say about this series that has not already been said about a zillion other Thai BL series? Handsome actors, great ambience, fabulous clothes, imprecise story. Which is too bad because the main actors can act, as they did bring some character intensity to their roles. The story went flat and pedestrian. The story was promising yet rather than be original or creative, it slipped back into what is a familiar plot and worst of all a deprecatory understanding of mental illness. It is so formulaic. Was this review helpful to you?
