Seven episodes in. One left before we bid this show a goodbye. And to say how I've felt while watching it... I think I really need to work on my vocabularies first.
While watching the show, I could feel each and every character's emotions. Whether others see as their actions as good or bad, I saw the struggle, pain, heartbreak and everything in between. I couldn't say anyone was wrong for everyone had their own reasons and situations. Unlike many, I liked all the character's and couple's storyline.
Jim-Wen storyline had me invested. And when I say 'invested' I do not mean I want to see if they end up together. No. What I mean is... I wanted to see where they came from, how they were dealing with present stuffs and what possibilities they have in the future, both individually and together. And what I saw was still beautiful.
Though every story leaves us with different feelings towards the show, it's hard to come by one like "Moonlight Chicken" which resonates with you.
I applaud every actor in the show for their incredible work.
Let me begin with... yes, the show isn't perfect. But I was looking for something light and I found that in the drama and I don't regret giving it a chance.
I'll be honest. I loved the first half, and second half wasn't bad as well. It just felt a teeny-tiny bit dragged. The last episode had many two-two conversations. Surprisingly, I liked that they showed those interactions. It was as if I was getting a closure.
Kim Jae Young gave a good performance as Kang Hae Jin and so did Kang Hyun Suk as Woo Gwang Nam. The main leads were good as well. They had more of a slow but sweet kinda story. This show rather brought back my memories of old rom-com.
About the plot, I thought they were leading Gwang Nam to have a love interest (potentially KHJ himself) in the first few episodes, but that didn't happen. Also, the family dinner arc in the last episode left me a bit downhearted. I am going to miss him a lot.
Oh, how could I forget the OST at the end. It's beautiful. <3
So do we still have hope for the original cast to stay in season 2 or is this the official cast?
The original 2 main casts declined to come back for season 2. Because the show had already been pushed back for years, it was only wise to bring new casts. Except for the 2 MC, all the others are coming back.
Yes, the casts mentioned at the present are the original casts and season 2 is currently being filmed. ^_^
Watched Ep 11 and 12.Another Big Reveal,- Juror Jung In Sung is originally Yoon Jae (Number 13). (but why does…
Me too. However, some of the scenes may not be flashback at all. And among those that could be, such as
- the boys in the prison cell... Sung Joon had visited the place on that day.
- when Sung Joon heard someone calling to him as Yoon Jae in the playground.... it was actually Sung Hoon calling Yoon Jae who was behind Sung Joon and pushed him down, after which Sung Joon lost his memories before that day. (Again, there could be something more to it. We don't know the whole story yet.)
- about himbeing scared of dogs and having flashbacks... well.. I'm confused about it myself. But it could be that he may also have a trauma relating to dogs, and it could just be the coincidence.
- Again, that Shaman had also acted out, when she met Sung Joon... that still needs to be cleared in upcoming episodes.
Watched Ep 11 and 12.Another Big Reveal,- Juror Jung In Sung is originally Yoon Jae (Number 13). (but why does…
Unless there is a twist in upcoming episodes, ending of episode revealed the killer (the real Yoon Jae). We may still be wrong about him though after all it's only been 12 episodes and there are still many unanswered questions.
The brothers Sung Joon and Sung Hoon, their relationship isn't bad. Sung Hoon in one hand always craved for his brothers love and attention. But Sung Hoon has secrets and he doesn't seem to trust Sung Joon fully.
(However, what I think is Sung Hoon wants to keep Sun Joon safe, and that's the reason he is keeping that distance.)
I'm not sure how many episodes you are in... so I could only say this much :)
Please tell me I'm not the only one who didn't expect that twist on the poster? heheAnyways, I enjoyed this week's…
Watched Ep 11 and 12.
Another Big Reveal,
- Juror Jung In Sung is originally Yoon Jae (Number 13). (but why does he have that scar/mark on his legs??) - Juror Jung In Sung is the one who attacked Ryu Sung Hoon.
(Unless we have some major twist in the future, he could be the killer, or acting with someone.)
- Number 12, the child In Seong is the son of the restaurant owner. [I knew that all along. :p]
- Number 12 Yoon Jae was swapped in place of In Seong and adopted by a couple from US. i.e, Yoon Jae changed his identity as In Seong all along.
The original 5 children's identity has finally been revealed. There were 5 Kids (Numbered 7, 11, 12, 13 and 24)
- Number 7 - Ahn Tae Ho. (dead) - Number 11 - Ryu Sung Hoon (alive, in the hospital) - Number 12 - missing son of the restaurant owner, (MIA) - Number 24 - Lee Hyun Soo - brother of Juror Lee Jung Soo a.k.a Charles [revealed to be in an accident & presumed dead(?)
- Number 13 - Yoon Jae - Juror Jung In Seong (My imagination on Park Ji Bin's expression when acting as a killer was spot on.)
Again, there could still be some twists. But that new Poster!

Sung Hoon being adopted and Sung Joon thinking he, himself being adopted may have increased the distance between them.
Also, Sung Hoon knows somethingmore than he is letting on, which is the reason he is hot and cold towaards Sung Joon.
But we still have four more episodes to reveal what's really going on...
And according to ep 12, Juror Insung is Yoon Jae.
The brothers Sung Joon and Sung Hoon, their relationship isn't bad.
