Hi, i just finished her in Doctor John. Great job of her. I agree that she's not that expressive, but her less expression is already enough to show her emotion, to me.
I have no idea when people say "bad hairdo" for kang si-young. Does it mean "too bad for a FL in a drama" or "too good for a reality in hospital life"? To me, her hair is 50:50 between drama and reality. While Kang Mi-rae's is too good to be true in hospital life, for sure.
I'm surprised by this review. Years ago when i used to watch western romance, i felt like "why they always insert sex scene in the love story? Is it a must for them? Cant they just fall in love naturally without that?" Then when i started watching asian (especially thai) i have hope i can find drama with good love development (we call it slow burn), not just instant attraction continued with sex sex sex. In fact, i need to sort those asian dramas bcoz some or many of them are westernized or americanized as you said.
Ep9-11 it's getting better.. Namtarn's character also. And I already accepted that this is a family drama with abundant roles with their various characters & interest that make the whole story this complicated. I still enjoy it though
