You have a point, it might be annoying if you are particularly sensitive to background sounds. I have found it annoying in most BLs, but given their intention here, I like it. I laugh every time they use some over-exaggerated "music". It very much reminded me of the Superhero Movie (2008), farce to the point of being funny. Come to think of it, I probably enjoy farce genre.

It doesn't look like an accidental parody of the BL industry and shows, it is a deliberate one. I am sure they were well-aware of the people who can't stand the parody, and I would argue that they probably weren't the target audience anyway. A good parody challenges one's views on a genre or style. Those who will be leaving is those who aren't willing to be challenged. I bet this one would end up being my second most favouite Thai BL after "I told Sunset about you"

I feel the story and writing was great. But there is something off with their chemistry. Maybe it is just me.

They lack chemistry. Period. No matter how the fans spin it, the main couple looks like two straight guys forced to be together. I am not saying that they have to be sexual or intimate with one other. The main couple in the series like Gameboys and Boyslockdown had a lot more chemistry than these two, even though they were "social distancing" (due to COVID Pandemic). You can see it in the eyes of lead characters from Gameboys and Boyslockdown, that they are longing to be in each other's arms, while the lead couple in this series looks very uncomfortable with each other. When one of them gets in the other one's personal space, their expressions look like being harassed.
