Interesting so if this is true this show will have multiple mls.
The rumour only said they are in "contact" with the said actors. If the rumours are indeed true, Xu Kai or the other actors mentioned are not yet confirmed to star in the drama. They are just being approached at the moment.

this is very silly of them. is there no trade union or association that supports Chinese actors?
Well, it can also, in a way, be a blessing in disguise. Especially for actors who are in Xu Kai's situation.

Yuzheng uses Xu Kai to place him in bad projects, get his share from Xu Kai's earnings. What if the drama flops? Xu Kai gets less money, and consequently, Yuzheng too gets less money. Although Xu Kai doesn't need to concern with himself about this anymore after he leaves that god-awful company, other actors who are in similar situation might see this as a good news. Their bosses would do their best to place them in good dramas more often than not. Cause, who doesn't love more money? And especially so when it comes to company bosses.

Just my thoughts/assumptions based on my observations.

🍉 Actors pay for dramas is being adjusted now. A-listers roughly 20% pay cut and non A-listers 20% or more pay cut, though it varies.

They’ll no longer receive their full payment upfront. Final pay will be given after the drama airs and will depend on how well it performs.

We haven't seen him in a campus romance yet. And he's got the face for it.
I hope he does one soon.

The public aren’t fools, and that’s exactly why not every allegation gets accepted at face value. In the Xu Lisha situation, a lot of neutral bystanders questioned the claims, and the accuser eventually walked it back. That wasn’t “fans cleaning things up", it was people recognizing inconsistencies.

You keep using “police involvement” as proof of guilt, but that’s not how it works. Reporting defamation also leads to police involvement and investigations. In the 2024 case, the process ended with an apology after the investigation concluded. That alone contradicts your claim that everything is “proven".

Repeated rumors don’t automatically equal a pattern of wrongdoing, they can also come from repeated amplification. Online narratives don’t become facts just because they circulate widely.

The idea that Yu Zheng is facing backlash for “protecting” Xu Kai doesn’t really hold up. If anything, even within fan discussions there’s been speculation in the opposite direction; that the agency hasn’t consistently supported him, especially given how these rumors have been allowed to circulate repeatedly without clear intervention.

And that ties directly into the contract situation. If Yu Zheng truly had the level of control you’re implying—able to “clean up” every issue and suppress anything damaging—then the power balance would look very different. An agency with that kind of leverage, especially if it supposedly held serious evidence against the said artist, would have no trouble securing a renewal or keeping the artist firmly tied to them.

Instead, what we’re seeing is uncertainty around his renewal contract well into the last few months.

At the end of the day, you’re treating allegations as confirmed conclusions, while dismissing outcomes that don’t fit your narrative.

Anyway, I’ve said what I needed to say. I’m not continuing this further.

If you want to believe every bad rumour an artist has, and if you just come out of your sockpuppet account and be a real account with your favourite idol watchlist, I can also bring out a few rumours of your idol that you don't wanna believe, but I insist they are the truth.

You stand here, making it seem like every rumour pertaining to Xu Kai is the truth as a nail, but if the roles were reversed, and I put your idol on the same stand, you'd be the same, defending your idol. That's why I look down on you for using a sockpuppet account, because you are ready to throw filth around, but don't dare to have the same filth thrown at your fave, and at this point, I am 100% sure your fave is not WHD, but someone else.

You say that Xu Kai's company is so good they deal with all the negative press against him. If that were true, he had a very filthy scandal thrown at him in 2024, and his company did nothing to stop these rumours. So Xu Kai himself had to go to police station and file a report himself. The investigation completed recently and the accuser posted apology. Two full years for the justice to prevail.
The abuse allegations were false, again, with a bit of research you'd know Xu Kai was the one being abused, not the other way around. That was also proven.

Also, Xu Kai's contract expires this year, and he's not planning on staying. If the company is so good that it "cleaned up his mess", the same company could air all of his mess out with proof if he is not staying back, because as you said, he is a top star of his company. And that is a fact. But that top star was mistreated in his own company, but you don't care about that. You only care about the slander.

You really don't understand China, do you. If any of the apparent allegations were even 1% true, Xu Kai would be banned, no questions asked. No company can save him, and especially his own company that never bothers managing his PR or his career. Biggest of the biggest stars were banned despite big backing, much less Xu Kai, who literally has no backing.

All of these so called allegations that you are championing are proven false, even that Xu Lisha posted that she was simply pranking him because he never looked at her. She is a well known saesang fan who used to follow Xu Kai, and Xu Kai didn't entertain her behaviour. All of these, you can easily find if you paid attention, but no, you filthy rats only care about the slander, but don't care about the truth that follows.

And yeah, I'm critical of you coming here with your sockpuppet account because someone coming here with their sockpuppet account don't care what filth they spread here. They just spread whatever filth they had on them and move on like the filthy rats they are.

I won't entertain your filth anymore tho, since you don't care for the truth, you only care to spread the filth. Do your job and fuck off from here.

I don't even think you are WHD's fan, since no one here, except Blade, has said a single bad thing about him. Even Blade apologized for what he/she said, and here you still are, trying your best to smear on Xu Kai. You are not a WHD fan, you are a certified Xu Kai hater, and so you can't use your own real account or you'll be found out.
And if you are indeed a WHD, then I feel sorry for WHD having you as a fan. You are inviting real hate against WHD from some of the Xu Kai fans who actually have good impression of WHD.

Oh here's another shameless sockpuppet filth account.

If you don't wanna educate yourself with the truth, don't bother coming here with your shameless filth. And you don't even dare to use your own real accounts, instead using fake accounts to spread filth.

You do understand if a star in China gets involved in gambling or public immoral issues, they will be banned, no questions asked?
It's precisely because all of those allegations were bullshit that he's still here. The police who were involved got involved BECAUSE Xu Kai reported these allegations as fake to police by providing proof.

Educate yourself before speaking filth. And also, come here with your real account. I know you are the same person as before, just coming here with another fake account again.

You are mad at someone who came to your faves page and making false statements, and you yourself are doing the same here.

At least, the Xu Kai fan who came to your faves page used their real account to make their comments, unlike you filthy rat, using a sockpuppet account and making unfounded accusations yourself here. And when we provided correct information about what happened then, you don't wanna listen and still double down.

The poster who came to your page even apologized for the misinformation, yet you still want to spread your filth here. Shameless filthy rat.

Title Wonderland of Love Spoiler
I am on episode 17 and I feel like Cui Lin is gaslighting me.! Why is she mad at Li Ni for letting her young master…
Stealing it from someone else's post below:

First time: She gets mad at the ML for thinking she betrayed him and plotted to kill him. Second time: She gets mad at the ML for not saving her brother. Even though her brother deserved what happened, she is in love with the ML, and it hurts to know he would let her go through the pain of losing a loved one. The ML then traps her in the place and doesn’t let her go home to mourn. She’s angry at him, but she’s also grieving her brother. These events happen very close together, so she’s also upset that the ML doesn’t trust her and throws what people call a “temper tantrum” about her brother dying and the ML not saving him. She stops being upset after the ML lets her visit her father and they hold a funeral for her brother.

I've a read a melon about a popular drama about to be filmed will only cast main leads and second main leads, remaining all other characters will be AI generated. đŸ˜”đŸ˜”đŸ˜”

Most highly rated dramas on MDL are romance-driven with strong CP and massive fandom. Dramas with genres like…
Yup, and niche audience are not as generous with their ratings as general romance audience.

To them, giving a drama they like a 7 or an 8 is already considered their best rating.

I know this because I used to be like this until I discovered c-dramas. And I somehow started being generous with my ratings.
