He was in My Dear Guardian. He's in the military in that drama, and later goes undercover as a criminal. The difference in his acting as a stoic military guy vs a criminal (undercover). Even the voice modulation changes between characters. When he first appears as a criminal, I didn't recognize him for a whole episode. I was wondering who this guy was, and why is he being introduced now. Then I came to realization. That's how good he was in that drama.

I'm guessing they cut them because of censorship. Especially with police dramas, they send the drama for review to the police departments, and they probably suggested to cut the kiss scenes around any police activities.
Zhao Xun (the actor playing Qi Yan) is a phenomenal actor. I thought the same when I first saw him in My Dear Guardian. This is the second drama I am seeing him in, and now I can officially put a stamp on it. Real phenomenal!
You guys have a huge problem with the FL, so huge that you don't discuss anything else about this drama except the FL. If you guys have problem with her character, why not just drop the drama? 1. What do you mean she never made it clear to SML that she has a husband? She's literally told him about her being married in the very first episode.
2. ML very clearly knew before he married FL that she was in love with SML, and she still hasn't completely gotten over him at this point. And when she proposed to get married, despite knowing all this, he jumped at the chance. He had free will and could wait until she fell in love with him before marrying her, but nah. So, I don't understand why everyone's surprised and mad that FL is still trying to deal with her feelings for SML (who btw is not just her ex, but also family)? Even if she were the first to propose to get married, ML willingly jumped into it despite knowing her situation.
3. Regarding her care for SML, as I said, he is not only her ex but also her family. She grew up with him. Shared a long deep past with him. He went undercover for her sake, and not knowing that, she thought he betrayed her and blamed him for 5 years. She also moved on with ML. And then suddenly to find out he never betrayed her, but went undercover for her sake, it is understandable she'd be a mess with her feelings complex. Put yourself in that situation and think. And one of those complex feelings is obviously feeling guilty towards SML. And ya'll are not understanding why she's feeling guilty and attack her. She's feeling guilty and crying in front of SML because she's really moved on from him and fell for ML.

Thankfully, I can be reasonable and understand her pov. Fate dealt a difficult hand to her, and she's trying her best to deal with it. You are only seeing things in ML's pov, not trying to understand FL's pov, and that's why you blame her.
Sucks to be FL. Both SML and ML are making unilateral decisions to leave her so they can protect her, forgetting the fact that she herself is a police officer who can do the protecting herself.
