where did you find this? is this true? because as a MM fan who hasnt seen ALP, i need to know!
MM, TLI, and ALP -- all three are indeed connected in the novels. The dramas however were made to be stand-alones, so do not get disappointed if the characters you loved/liked in TLI and/or MM appear to be a lot different and not to your expectations.
FL goes on to have half of her stomach to be surgical removed so that she can't over-eat (she's a foodie) and look fat on-screen. She's also extremely busy, only takes 5 days off per year, and to keep with the busy schedule, she frequently takes injections.
Hey guys.. a bit off-topic. I just came across a Chinese novel and started reading. I'm almost at the end, and I felt like this novel truly depicts how C-ent industry runs. I did read Chinese novels based on entertainment industry before, but they all felt like they are sugarcoating everything. This one however is so brutally real, while also able to convey a good love story. The novel is about two ex-lovers who are now at peak, ML is at peak in the movies while FL is at peak in the dramas. It talks about CP hyping, billing issues, table reading, variety shows gimmicks, and a lot of other things very realistically.
I highly recommend it for everyone to read it, so you might understand the C-ent industry a little bit more.
We're already seeing melons for A Cup of Love release, yet there's still no information on when Fire Investigator or 800m will release. They were both filmed before A Cup of Love.
I understand Fire Investigator might need to go through a thorough review process that could take forever, I don't know what's stopping 800m from releasing. It already passed review.
Just blocked someone who put that @jarum and normal people in the same bracket. As I said, block and move on. It feels liberating once you have blocked toxic people. Do not engage anymore.
Also wishing a very happy birthday to @Blades SoSo

But honestly, we haven't seen many really good C-ent industry based novels being adapted.

It's terrible what they are doing to themselves.
The novel is great though.

Looks like they removed the series from the website. They uploaded it on another website which is up for download if anyone is interested:
