I was only able to pause because of two things:
1. I had plans for the weekend. 2. Despite the plans, I wanted to take some time to watch the day's episodes, but the previews turned me off a bit. I don't like the jealous scenes. So, that's done it for me.
Mei Zhuyu is the ML with all ML's best attributes; insanely handsome, loving only his FL, has great power, can…

Exactly what I feel, lol. I had to pause during the weekend, and I am getting caught up with 6 episodes to watch today. It feels amazing. I was left wanting for more when it was only 2 episodes per day. I feel like this drama is best viewed when binge-watching.
I agree with you but I don't think it applies here. He rejected her just before the entry of third party.
And yet, she is still using a third party to make him jealous.
I'm sure MZY can still come to understand things without bringing in the concept of "oh no, another man is coveting her, and she seems interested. No, I have to stop this!!"
That's not cute; that's being unreasonably possessive, another negative energy.
Good there are men like you. Bravo, be always this way
I'm sure most men feel the same. Men, typically, don't like to deal with negative emotions in relationships. So, my advice to the female audience who are watching c-dramas and feel those jealousy scenes are cute, don't pull that shit in real life, please.
Catching up on the episodes I missed during the weekend.
I'm loving everything, except for one small thing that always bothers me with the c-dramas. This happens with almost every romantic c-drama ever produced in recent times.
Third-party interference causing jealousy for one or both of the main leads. Especially if one or both of the leads use a third-party to create this jealousy-infused competitive vibe to further their relationship development. I'm used to it, and at this point, I can't even complain about it, because it is what it is. C-dramas cannot be produced without this plot device. ***waves the white flag***
All I can say is, if I were pursuing a woman (I'm a man, fyi), and that woman is trying to intentionally use another man to make me feel jealous and more competitive, I ain't getting jealous or more competitive. I am pulling out of the pursuit and moving on. Not worth my effort.
I personally see "jealousy" as a negative emotion. I don't like to deal with negative emotions in real life. And if the person I'm pursuing is using these tactics to get me jealous, that person is already bringing in negative energy into our budding relationship; that is a huge red flag for me. And I wave the white flag as soon as I see a red flag.
Have you seen the reviews for ep 20 and 21, I can't wait, if you haven't seen them maybe best not too, now I really…
I'm guessing the heart-break won't last long, at least going as per schedule. They will probably release the fast-track on next week Monday, Tencent usually releases the last five episodes in fast-track.

I'm in serious need of some slice-of-life cleansing.
You simply click on it and find the heat index above the episodes list.
