That would be super cute! Even without cats, I do hope XK and TXW are able to more promo together while it’s…
I was just hoping they could do a promo or a livestream with their cats. It's not something that is being planned by the drama team, just something I hope they do.
Get ready guys!!! There will be a feast tomorrow lol. So many materials will release Tomorrow. https://x.com/xukaidrama/status/1954573291357622432?t=D5Dg7yN8FQBq9wvpbgLasA&s=19
Alright, so considering that this drama is about a Cat Demon, can I hope for Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei to do a promo video with their own cats? Just put the two in a room together with their cats, and do a fun interview talking about their cats. I know Xu Kai has multiple cats, and Tian Xiwei has at least one, if not more (I heard she too has multiple cats, but I'm not so sure).
Just an idea, and I hope the drama team does something like this. Or perhaps it can be done with fans requesting it?
Here's an interesting tidbit about upcoming dramas that are about to spell a competition between Tencent and YouKu:https://x.com/FKShi/status/1954518901880230111?t=lEGepH3ZsaL110JxYTqE-g&s=19'Writer'…
I guess, in the end, what matters is how good the adaptation is, how solid the screenplay was written, and how good it was directed.
Hoping for both the dramas to do well.
PS: I only know that WDBD's novel was more famous internationally. I don't know if that is the case in China as well. Please feel free to correct me on this.
'Writer' here actually means 'Author' of original novels. Now, I haven't read either of the novels, but I do know Youku drama's novel is more famous, at least internationally. I believe it's because 'Offering Salted Fish To Master' was translated into English long back (back in 2022, when neither dramas were even announced).
Man, fuck off with your condescending attitude. I have experience with c-dramas that were announced officially…
Gotcha, Saw the post, and I agree. MR should air on Aug 18th as rumored, but as a c-drama fan for 6 years, I can't help but be a little pessimistic about it.
Man, fuck off with your condescending attitude. I have experience with c-dramas that were announced officially…
Thanks for clarifying.
That Vince and Hao are taking my comment below out of context and misrepresenting it as "scaring people".
Nah. I was responding to a commenter who claimed to be new to C-dramas, and I am just stating that dramas could get postponed even after the release date is announced, since he or she is new to c-dramas. Us old viewers know the pain of dramas getting officially announced to air, but suddenly getting postponed. Just prepping the person to not be disappointed if somehow MR does get postponed.
There are way too many reasons for which the dramas can be postponed:
-Sudden political movements. -An important politician dies. -One of the cast members gets caught in a scandal suddenly. -Sudden policy changes for upcoming drama releases.
All these are beyond even the platform's control. The platform may truly want to release the drama, but had no choice but to postpone. One of Xu Kai's dramas got postponed after being officially confirmed to air (and the platform really wanted it to air during that time, I think it was She and Her Perfect Husband) because of a sudden political movement. It was rumoured that the drama was getting too much heat during that political movement, and the higher-ups in government asked to postpone it. If I remember correctly, Wonderland of Love was also postponed after it was officially confirmed to air. They announced the drama release date as a ruse, and then suddenly pulled out. I think it was looking for more official sponsors, so they fake-announced it and pulled out. I may be remembering it all wrong, though.

And who are you to decide whether I should comment or not? Are you a police or what? I post whatever I want. You don't like it? Block me and be done with it.
Oh, the irony of it all, a fake account (with absolutely no account activity) calling my comments "fake".

1. Where in my comment did I find fault with Tencent for the Sword Rose incident?
2. It doesn't matter whose fault it was; the drama was officially announced by official platforms, and then it was postponed. This happened to way too many dramas that I have lost count. You (a fake account of Vince) and your original account made comments implying that I was misleading people by saying dramas do get postponed even after they are officially announced. I just provided you with a recent example of it happening.

Breaking News: YOU DO NOT.
You are borderline harassing people here with your antics.
