I'm not surprised. Xu Kai dramas always on Viki.
Of course, Viki will try their best to get Xu Kai's dramas on their platform, but it was made easier because allmost all of his recent dramas are Tencent dramas, and Tencent (more specifically WeTV) and Viki have a deal together. So most of WeTV dramas almost always end up on Viki. Viki even has a category called "WeTV Section".

It would be a different case if it were iQiyi.

Disney+ has the streaming rights for MR in the US.
They probably won't allow Viki to stream there.

I don't think they are anonymous. My guess is that they are both relatively new writers, so their names weren't used much to promote the drama.

Salted-Fish means living a lazy life by choice, lol.
You can even see in the trailer, the FL says this a few times that she just want to be a salted-fish (the trailer translated to "I just want to lie down and do nothing" I guess)

I have seen too many Chinese novels translated to English have Salted-Fish in their titles.
