Ep 32, I feel like there is huge plothole that needs to be addressed. All this scheming by the Emperor and everyone else, there's one simple solution: The Emperor could have abdicated and crown the Crown Prince as the Emperor. He could also decree that he is going to some mountain to recuperate, and have the Empress and Qing Wang pray for his health in the Imperial Moesuleum with loyal Imperial Guard strictly guarding them. And that once the Emperor dies, the Empress will follow him.
All this, he could have done while keeping his best friend, Duke Ding, alive and well. Duke Ding would also definitely be loyal to the new Emperor. A lot of lives would be spared and, of course, the Imperial Family will keep their dignity. 😑
He mention their family name to be listed down esp his younge brother's in history. He is obsessed with being…
Yes, I'm not ep 32, and I get it. But it's still not much, considering the fact that the Dou family does not have any heirs, and they will fall once his younger brother is also dead.
Looking for a recommendation... I have only the 25th to binge a series and I'm currently hesitating between this…
Both are very good, but I was pissed off by The Double's pathetic ending, which was only saved by the last minute shot extra episode (they only filmed it 1 week before the last episode was supposed to air after seeing the exceptional response the drama was getting; they probably figured the viewers would be royally pissed at the ending). Meanwhile, I'm hearing very positive feedback on Blossom's ending.
On ep 27, Dou Shishou and Grand Princess conversation; I don't understand Dou Shishou's ambition... I mean I get wanting to elevate your Dou family, but for how long? The Dou family has no heirs, and the two brothers (FL's father and DSS) are already old. Once they are gone, there's no Dou family. It's already fallen before it can stand on top. I really don't get how elevating his already falling family will justify his actions for himself.
Hi guys, I saw a video on YouTube that claims Li Yunrui agency takes away 80 percent of his earnings in dramas.…
Well, when they sign him up, they put in considerable amount of money to train him, then put in a lot of resources to plan for him and bring him up to where he is now. So, obviously, they are going to milk him and recover what they deem fit from him before his contract is up for renewal. Then they can re-negotiate the terms of the contract. Also, you need understand that this contract of 80-20 deal was signed by Li Yunrui himself. I don't think they are taking advantage of him if he agreed to the terms of the contract and signed on the dotted lines with sound mind.
y'all I'm glad it ended well from what I see in the comments. not a single mixed review that even the double got.…
The Double's ending was so dumb and unnecessary, and no, I'm not considering the last-minute shot extra episode as its ending, because the production only shot that extra episode after seeing the reception the drama got. If the drama didn't do as well as it did, we would've been stuck with that extremely dumb ending.
I don't like the premise of any of the above dramas, but I will take Cross the Ocean only if Wang Churan is the…
I read on Twitter recently that TXW is second-billed, not sure how true that is.
There were some posts going around about how TXW had billing issues with her new co-star ZLH, and the posts also falsely alleged that TXW also had billing issues with XK and another male actor. Fans of both XK and and the other male actor defended that there were absolutely no issues between their stars and TXW wrt to the billing, and in that conversation, I read that XK was first-billed and TXW was second-billed.
The possibility of that servant girl being SM's "dead" sister is going up and up for me.
Well, right after SM talks with his father about the "dead" sister, she shows up to talk with SM's father in the prison. So, I have had that feeling since then.
She's also in the clip you shared, and I felt the shot focusing on her shocked expression or something like that could be about this revelation. Just my feeling.

My favourite couple in this drama after DZ and SM.

Thank you in advance.

Almost every other male character is a Grade A jerk.
