I have no patience for the bad plot and the ML didn't do a good job (imo)
"Wonderland of Love" is a historical Rom-Com by Xu Kai and Jing Tian. The kung fu is awesome in this drama, and Jing Tian did a good job playing the army lieutenant. However, I dislike Xu Kai's character and acting ability.Xu Kai can't act, in my opinion, especially in historical dramas. I dropped every historical drama he was in, like Snow Eagle Lord, Lost in the Kunlun Mountains, Court Lady, etc.
I have a higher tolerance for his modern dramas like Falling Into Your Smile and She and Her Perfect Husband, where I finished the dramas but not historical ones. He is very handsome but a one-dimensional actor with the same facial expression for every emotional scene.
I gave it a 6.5 rating because I didn't like the plot and could not continue after watching 8 episodes.
Don't waste your time with this drama - boring as hell.
"Turn on the Right Way of Life" is about 42-year-old Bian Liang is at a loss with his career and life. It was an interesting plot to see how he maneuvers as he is juggling career and family life.I was interested in the story, but after watching 11 episodes, I lost interest and am thinking of dropping it.
It did not show his struggles with his job well, and his character is the passive-aggressive type I hate. He was too nice and passive at work but aggressive with his family.
His wife, played by Mei Ting, was too weak; she was a doctor and gave up her career to be a stay-at-home mom. The muddling between her mom and father-in-law was annoying.
Every episode is about the same thing work and family emotional problems; it would be much better if it were not draggy. It does not need to be 40 episodes long; I think it would be much better in 20-24 episodes.
I give it a 5.0 rating because the plot and the ensemble's acting abilities were bad.
Another bad RomCom with bad acting, don't waste your time.
Only for Love is a rom-com about a cold CEO and a financial reporter.I watched about 8 episodes of "Only for Love"; don't waste your time. Here are the reasons why I am dropping it:
- Only For Love: The plot is boring, and the character Bai Lu playing is weak and a waste of her talents.
- Dylan Wang is not convincing as a cold CEO. There is no on-screen chemistry between the lead actors.
- For Dylan Wang's fan, I am sorry, but to me, he is a one-dimension actor who can't act.
I have wasted almost 8 hours with something so boring and unreal. Just because Dylan Wang is popular in LBFD doesn't mean that he should be teamed up with everyone, even the good actress.
I heard he will team up with my favorite actress, Zhao Lusi. I hope it will not disappoint me. I am dropping this drama because the plot is stupid, and the ML does not do justice to team up with Bai Lu (one of my favorite actresses.)
I give it a 5.0 rating because of the bad plot, acting, and production quality.
Could not get pass episode 5. Too slow, boring, and annoying background music
My Journey to You is a historical drama about Yun Wei Shan, a spy longing for freedom, who infiltrates the Gong residence to complete a mission and falls in love with Gong Zi Yu.I cannot pass episode 5 of this drama. It is so slow, and the interjection of the background music is so much that it is annoying. The flashback between scenes is too confusing to follow for me. I like Esther Yu in Moonlight with Ryan Ding, but anything after that was so unbearable for me, especially the high-pitched voice that was her character in "A Romance of the Little Forest," which makes her dislike her even more.
I don't know how people like her acting; she has now been delisted from my favorite actresses list. Her onscreen chemistry with Zhang LingHe is not great either. I am dropping this drama and give it a 4.0
Don't wast your time with this light on series with iQiyi
Why Try to Change Me Now is another iQiYi short series. I usually enjoy their short series like Bad Kids, Homesick, and Who is the Murderer, to name a few; except this one.I watched about 2 1/2 episodes, and I could no longer continue with it. It was too slow and draggy, and the story and acting were dull. Each episode is over an hour, and I could not see myself sticking with it. The characters' buildings were not there, and I ended up falling asleep watching the drama.
I am giving it a 3.0 rating and dropping it as well. If you have different opinions, please let me know. Too bad, it is only 6 episodes in total, but the plot did not lure or engaged me.
Kill me now - It is so boring, draggy, and stupid script even with good actress.
Moonlight Mystique is a Xian Xia costume drama about good and evil again (immortal vs demon.) It is nothing new; every Xian Xia drama has the same or similar story. It was freaking boring to watch.I like Bai Lu, but ever since "Love is Sweet," I have not been able to finish any of her dramas, especially the Xian Xie ones, which she has been in a lot lately. It is not my favorite genre, but I watch it because of my favorite actors and actresses, and I get disappointed every single time with this genre.
I am in episode 8 right now, and I can't get it, let alone continue to watch the entire 40 episodes. I am dropping it.
Synopsis: Bai Shuo, the youngest daughter of the General's Mansion, vowed to cultivate immortality to repay a favor. While on her journey to seek immortality, she unexpectedly saved the powerful demon god, Fan Yue. Initially strangers, they gradually went from mutual manipulation to mutual affection, and eventually, both fell in love. Despite facing many obstacles, their love was strong enough to overcome any limitations, allowing them to embrace each other truly.

3. Music/OST: 5
4. Production Quality: 8

Another typical career-focused 30s single woman drama, watched too many to engage into another one.
I am dropping "Stand or Fall" with Qin Lan and Wang Yang after 8 episodes. They are seasoned actors, and I like them both in other dramas. I plan to finish it, but I could not get into the story because Qin Lan has been typed cast into the same type of role. A career focus woman who is still single in her 30s and hangs out with friends of the same age who are either singles or have relationship problems where she comes to the rescue. She played a similar character in Dr. Tang, Hello My Love, The Magical Women, The Rational Life, etc. I did not want to watch another drama with a similar vibe.
I give it a 5.0 for bad script and typed casting for Qin Lan. She is a good actress but should branch out to more emotionally charged drama.
It is a slow burn and boring drama. I can't continuing with it after 9 episodes.
Reblooming Blue is a melodrama about the relationship between Chen Xiao Man and her boss. They dated, and due to a misunderstanding, they broke up and got back together.Synopsis: Chen Xiao Man has been working hard in the city to save enough for her to invest shares in the family's porcelain business. However, she becomes unemployed and has no choice but to return to her hometown. At this time, Chen Xiao Man's superior, Ke Yan, also encounters an unprecedented setback. Hoping to turn things around, he came to Chen Xiao Man's hometown to seek the help of a legendary figure in the investment community who had been living in seclusion. This leads to a reunion between Chen Xiao Man and Ke Yan. Under his guidance and encouragement, she decided to embark on the road of entrepreneurship.
My Reviews:
1. The On-screen chemistry between the main CP is dull and non-existent.
2. The story could be faster and smoother. I am dropping this drama.
3. I lost interest in continuing after 9 episodes.
I give it a 5.0 rating because it is a typical genre that Victoria Song has played over the years since I embarked on Cdrama. The drama was nothing special; she always played a headstrong, career-oriented woman with conflicts with her lover. They broke up and got back together—the same old thing.
Bad storyline, bad acting, and overall boring.
Fighting for Love is a historical drama about a female general disguised as a man seeking revenge against Chen Qi. I watched 9 episodes, which was so boring, so I am dropping it.The Synopsis:
The story follows A Mai, a female general of the founding era of the Southern Xia dynasty, who discards her feminine attire and dons battle armor, enduring hardships to become a legendary female warrior. A Mai, the daughter of the Duke of Jingguo in Southern Xia, witnesses her entire family being killed by her childhood friend Chen Qi. Despite their confrontations, they unintentionally go through life-and-death situations together, developing a mutual understanding and respect. However, faced with the brutality of war, A Mai willingly sets aside personal attachments
and uses her youth and fervor to defend her army.
My Reviews:
1. The drama didn't lure me after 9 episodes. I don't have much review to say about it.
I am dropping it and giving it a 5.0 rating.
Awesome drama until the ending where it was stupid and unnecessary.
When the Phone Rings is a melodrama about the relationship between the president's spokesman and his muted wife starting Yoo Yeon Seok andChae Soo Bin.
The first time I watched Yoo Yeon Seok, I was impressed. He is a good actor, much better than Chae Soo Bin. The story and pace of the drama are good until the last episode when the ending is so stupid. Why did they add the war zone scene in the previous episode? It was foolish and unnecessary, ruining the drama for me. I would have given it an 8.0 rating, but I am downgrading it to 7.5 because of the last episode.
Synopsis: Baek Sa Eon, the youngest presidential spokesman in Korea, comes from a prestigious political family. His background includes roles as a war correspondent, hostage negotiator, and news anchor. Three years ago, he married Hong Hui Ju, a mute sign language interpreter and the adopted second daughter of a newspaper proprietor. Their marriage, based on convenience, has been distant and cold. However, their lives and relationship are changed when Hui Ju is kidnapped.

If you enjoy food then watch this drama, else don't bother. Bad acting and bad script.
The Corner of the World is Dinner is a modern drama about three roommates and how they overcome life's adversities through a good meal at dinner time. The only thing good about this drama is the food they eat and the way they enjoy it. The rest is unappealing, and the acting is subpar across the entire cast.
Synopsis: Three girls with completely different professions, personalities, and schedules live together under the same roof, but they have one thing in common: no matter what conflicts or problems they encounter in life, love, or work, they will cook when night falls. The three of them get together to have a serious dinner. For them, every day's problems seem to be solved after dinner.

A sweet cheesy but watchable RomCom with good onscreen chemistry from the main CP.
The Best Thing is a RomCom drama that starts with Zhang Ling He and Xu Ruo Han about a doctor a doctor-patient relationship that turns romantic, and they eventually marry. The main CP's acting is mediocre, but they have decent onscreen chemistry. Their chemistry is cheesy, and they have little drama or conflict. It is watchable and cute.

I didn't like the topic and the script of this drama.
Let's Talk About Chu is about a dysfunctional family where love and encouragement never speak or show, which leads Chu Ai into meaningless hookups with guys without love. I didn't like the script, and the acting was mediocre. My Reviews:
1. The acting was mediocre from the FL.
2. I don't like the script and the negative relationships it portrays among the siblings and their partners.
I give it a 5.5 rating. I also fell asleep watching it because it was a slow burn, and I FFed and skipped some scenes that were not interesting to me.
Bad plot and bad acting. Don't waste your time with it.
Family is a melodrama about a married couple whose lives were entwined and interrupted by the interference of in-laws. After 9 episodes, I do not have the patience to continue with the drama. All the bickering and interference of the in-laws were annoying. It could be the culture still exists in China, but who now, at this stage and age, still have parents interfere in their lives? They should speak up instead of letting their parents dictate their lives. They are not young either; it is a ridiculous plot.Synopsis: After years of hard work, Gu Xiao Meng, an excellent high school teacher, and her designer husband, Lv Xiang, finally bought their own small house, but they also welcomed Lv Xiang's parents who came to Beijing for medical treatment in the name of vacation. At the same time, Gu Xiao Meng's mother, Liu Meiqin, and younger brother, Gu Xiao Song, who were in constant trouble, also came from Suzhou. The intermediary repeatedly fooled Gu Xiao Song into going abroad, so he sold his house in his hometown and threw Liu Mei Qin to Gu Xiao Meng. Three old people joined this family; when the family was in a mess, Gu Xiao Meng learned that she was pregnant, so the couple began a tortuous life with these old people and their child. Although there are all kinds of troubles in life and career, the determination to protect love and home gives this couple courage. They work tirelessly and strive for their ideal life.
My Reviews:
1. It is a ridiculous plot, so why bother making it?
2. Bad acting from ML and FL.
3. It was too noisy, and there was too much bickering between the in-laws, which was annoying.
I found the plot ridiculous. I am dropping it because I don't want to waste my time with it. I give it a 4.5 rating.
The drama did not do a good job of luring me in to the story. I am dropping it.
Lost in the Shadows is a light-in-series crime drama set in the 1990s. A young kid goes missing, and the detective/father is trying to find his son and solve the case. I watched four episodes of it, and the acting may be decent, but the suspense did not lure me.I found it too draggy, so I am dropping it.
