Baeksang nomination/winning means nothing if there is no commercial success, the awards are just an additional bonus. She did many main roles in last ten years like 8-10 which is good enough to judge on what level of success she had.

Encounter is a big hit as it hit 10% by episode 2 on TVN which is a paid channel rather than public one. I don't think there are more than couple of dramas in history that debuted with 10% on a paid channel. His only underwhelming drama Record of youth with negative reception still ended up near to 10% in ratings so it was not a flop ratings wise. Reply is his breakout role and why doesn't it count? All main characters get credit for this show as it is a family drama with an ensemble cast. As for kim so hyun, her dramas on paid channels end up with less than 5%, her last two dramas had like 2-3% throughout. Her public channel drama as you mentioned High School 2015. The Tale of Nokdu and Where the moon rises still ended up with single digit ratings. High School 2015 is probably the only hit she has and that also is probably due to very low production and salary costs as the main cast for that show was relatively unknown at that point.

Literally mentioned Evernight as one of his drama I liked. Also I found him having good chemistry with zhou ye in movie Yesterday once more. So no I am not a shipper who cannot distinguish between a drama and real life

Such Good Love is also said to air very soon according to rumors. That drama is looking very good from the trailers and It does look like kinda different from other other idol romance dramas that aired recently

Despite being a fan of male leads acting from both Evernight and Lighter & Princess, this drama does not excite me much as I feel like it is looking very tropey from every thing we have seen so far. Never have been impressed with female lead as well from her other works. I feel like the main actors need to have insane chemistry to make this drama worthwhile.

This drama looks so good from the trailers, It actually looks like some effort has been put into this production to make it standout in a sea of very generic tropey modern cdramas. Hoping this drama turns out very good when it airs and becomes a huge hit.

I want the opposite, I would watch the show if he was actually a playboy but the chinese scriptwriters think their audience are 10 years olds who can't handle if the male lead is anything other than a simp for female lead

After reading the novel spoilers, no way I am ever going to watch this drama

This was one of the worst shows I've ever watched nearly 40 hours completely wasted. It left such a lasting impact that I revisit this comments section every few years just to warn others. Only watch if you enjoy reverse harem stories where the male lead is merely a background character. If you're a fan of strong male leads, stay far away. And if you're a male viewer, avoid it even more.
