Can people stop talking about the novel and spoiling the drama for everyone and also skewing their judgements?…

I would have agreed with you if that happened only in this drama but we all know this happens in pretty much most cdramas. The scriptwriters know their target audience(female) won't accept a male lead if he is poor, not handsome or genius, has lesser status than fl, having relationships with any other women than fl etc. And the worst of all is how the scriptwriters make male lead act out of his character to do some shitty thing to justify female lead dating/marrying other guys.

Nothing can be done when script is so bad and has been done 100's times already. I am also not convinced of fl in romantic scenes either in this drama or her past drama

You're probably not aware, but before Netflix entered the Korean market, almost all K-dramas used to film and even re shoot certain scenes right up until the final week of airing. As for the romantic conclusion, I felt that there was no right or wrong choice for the fl, I found all the characters wonderful
