His visuals as LCZ are sizzling. Gosh just one scene took over the entire episode. Really hope we see more of him soon. I think the calendar hints at they meeting in 2-4 episodes.

Yes, that was so heartbreaking. And these episodes really showed us just how different the brothers are. He feels guilt for not being able to save his parents and sect yet he saved 10 other sects without even knowing the extend of his good actions. His brothers are trying to blackmail others to pay them money they don't have a right to claim while he has people giving him resources and man power to help rebuild in return to his kindness and bravery he showed in saving them all by revealing the bad guys. He buried his fallen comrades and build their memorials in three days without sleep while they ran around scheming to get money to rebuild forgetting all the teachings their father taught them.

Agree. And the trapped in a videogame/story isn't done as often as other tropes so I am enjoying it very much. Also the sprinkles of modern day terms and things like the mojito cocktail. That cracked me up.

Madame Wu gave him the dagger that belonged to her guard at the military camp after his friend has been revealed to be a villain. It was in there all along but XQS didn't know. He was looking in a tomb where he had hidden it in his story changes and ended up finding it in the dagger instead. He also noticed scribbles in the tomb that someone had scratched off. Makes me wonder if others or he himself have played the game various times before.

I'm confused, the system has told him if he became the sect leader then the changes he made to the story would kick in or he could make them kick in. But now that he became the sect leader he was only given two choices, pick a different character to play or leave the game. I wonder if the masked figure picked the first choice or got lost in the game losing his real self like the system warned XQS that it would happen to him. But still I was happy for his small wins, he got to get some precious memories of his family from the real character.

Right. But I think the prince was waiting to see who would bury the fallen comrades and make their memorial plaques before handing the letter. His excuse was he felt XQS wasn't in a good mindset to hand him the letter. The other two brothers pretty much left right after the fight and just hanged out trying to see what they could use to rebuild under their own two names.

They literally forgot the duties of a sect leader, didn't even bother to bury their fallen comrades, didn't put their swords or names in the memorial sword room and then went against their fathers teachings and tried to have people pay what was lent to them for free. The brothers failed their father hard. And the previews hint at even worse ideas from these two.

From disliking certain characters to feeling like the secrets are being revealed very slowly it can drain one. But I feel like these two latest episodes 19-20 really did the story some good. Loved them and they again reminded me that the episodes feel so short. Plus it gave me one of my favorite scenes in the sword room, that hug was just too precious.

Me too, that hug scene was too precious to ruin it with betrayal. He really needed someone on his side and to hug him, poor XQS.

I agree. I feel like he is being used as it was hinted that it might have been the case with the two sect leaders his schemes ended up killing. Either he was tricked by someone who disguised himself as his boss or it was the boss and he is lying. But I feel like the painting discussion hinted at the former. Yet the previews show one of the followers killing off more members on the orders of the boss so hmmm I am confused.

My recommendation as a Cheng Yi fan and a fan of Cdramas is to watch the episodes back to back, at least a few so they don't feel so jarred and disjointed. I found it hard at first to understand some of the characterization of the ML and the way his personality or behavior changed so much even in the same scenes until a few episodes in. But rewatching them again I picked up so many things faster and enjoyed the series a lot more than the first time I saw them. And these two new episodes revealed so much and are moving the story along rather nicely. In the end you can only be the judge of what you think of what you are watching. If you do give this series a try would love to hear your take on it.

Omg so much was revealed in these two episodes. I am starting to hate the brothers even more especially the second, he keeps putting bad ideas into the other's head. And they better keep their hands off their sister.

For some reason I keep thinking it might be the second brother. But whoever it is they are hinting that he could take the look of other people, that or the person in question is lying. I can't wait to find out who it is.

I am extremely sad that I started watching this series two days ago. I was patiently waiting for it to air then got super busy that the days slipped by. Then I remembered and have powered through all the aired episodes and am now in constant torture to wait till 5am to watch two new episodes. I wish it was already the last day where I get to watch 4 episodes. Hope they decided to release the last episodes earlier like they did with Immortal Samsara. I want to see the whole series already.

I believe the same and I think it is XQS other half, Li Chen Zhou but what the masked villain said threw me off and now I am not so sure. He said someone in the Power Gang might already have the token, either a hidden agent or the boss but if the boss had it why lie about it. Unless LSF has it and was using it as an excuse to attack QXS parents to get his revenge.
