There are always some who rate it low before they even watch it or don't even watch but rate it low. I used to always ask this myself and that is typically the response others give me. I wouldn't go by the rating too much, it's an amazing series and the episodes are really good so far.

Right, episode 7 was the calm before the storm. Though a lot did happen before the calm too. Can't imagine the chaos that is going to happen moving forward but I am sooo ready for it.

I love it. He is so cute, and I could totally see who the other ones were. OMG I am going to need to rewatch all his series again. I recently rewatched Immortal Samsara.

Right?! Like how did they know that the general was going to hand over his army unless there is a spy?

I think he comes back later, we see a short glimpse of someone removing their face mask in the trailer for this series unless it is someone else who did the same thing?!

Omg is that his character with the shovel about to hit the disposed emperor? lol

He does; we see a bit of him fighting in Episode 6 where he saves the Disposed Emperor. His character is more brains than brawns in this one.

In the next episode we get our Gray\White Hair Cheng Yi. OMG I can't wait. So exciting. The preview looks sooooo good.

Episode 7 clears things up. So sad but hope she stays safe.

Something felt off when he was in his death\sleep slumber and talking to his dad. He told him that he had left his sister alone in a hut and when he returned, she was gone. But the sister remembers it differently so is she really his sister or a fake one?

That last showdown with his uncle was chilling. OMG Cheng Yi is beautiful, stunning and crazy impressive in any role and emotion. Love him.

They might release it once Cheng Yi's popularity grows even more just like they did with South Wind Knows. They kept that one for years and finally decided to release it only after Immortal Samsara and Mysterious Lotus Casebook.

Omg what was that preview for Episode 5? OMG

I loved the first 4 episodes; they were mind blowing and omg yes, the blood and twists. I feel so much for the lead, each death hurts and one can see that even though they betrayed him they still manage to hurt him again. I love Cheng Yi's romance projects but also feel this one is just as amazing. I hope this leads him to more series and projects like these and maybe even more characters like this in his more known genres. I have been wanting to see him play darker roles as the main and this one is giving it to me. So happy for him and everyone in this project.

Loved the main villain for these two episodes but omg can't wait for the villain in Episode 3. He is nailing the evil look, that grin looks scary.

Omg finally it is here. I missed this entire cast. Let's Go!

True. I think the reason I didn't feel much in her final scene was because I was still upset about the entire brother arc and how she acted during it and after. She was one of my favorite FLs ever and they did her dirty in that arc.

You can do it!! I had to push through as well. Cheng Yi comes out with his white hair in the last episodes so that was my sole reason to finish. He looks so gorgeous and the fight scenes he does are always amazing.

Love your summary of the last episodes. Yes, he was extremely yummy to look at. That look, he does so well.

Did you not see the very last few seconds of the last episode. She is alive and so is he, though she returned to her spider form.
