The last 4 episodes really made up for those draining episodes. Loved the ending, it has a small HE scene at the very end that I wish they had shown more. It was so good to see Fugui with his white hair for as long as we did at the end. This series isn't perfect, and the brother's arc almost ruined it but glad to see the story recover itself at the end. And seeing an evil or at least acting evil Cheng Yi was so nice too, made me miss Immortal Samsara where his father was evil. I really want to see him play an evil character that is also a center part of the story and gets equal screen time as his good character in a future project. He plays both sides so well. I will definitely be rewatching these last 4 episodes again and again.
Less than 20 minutes to go. I am not ready to say goodbye to Fugui. I loved the first episodes, they were perfection. Let's hope it ends with a banger. But overall, it gave us another amazing Cheng Yi with white\yellow hair. Omg that look is just chef kisses.
And don’t even get me started about her brother. Why is he constantly drooling over his own sister? The writers…
Yes, she clearly said they were from the same batch and the last of them too. Everyone else died and that is why she considers him her brother. They are numbered the same as well, one has zero as the last number and the other 1.
Omg this drama has me cracking nonstop. I love it! It's almost a disappointment on how good these actors and actresses are for it to be just all cracks and jokes, but I still love it, nonetheless. I need to see if they come out in anything else, maybe something more serious because I just love them already.
Edit: Omg the ML is Xiao Ge, I knew I recognized him from somewhere. And he comes out in The Spirealm. This is too much for my heart to take.
I am watching every episode patiently because I was waiting for that blond hair and black umbrella entry...I know…
Omg me too, that black umbrella and Fugui with blonde hair will be the savior of this series. I can't wait to see him again in that look. The first time was too short.
I wouldn't wish QC on anyone, not even the Black Fox.But yeah, got no idea why she thinks that especially when…
I know part of the reason she took her brother away is because she doesn't trust the alliance, they have hurt Fugui tons of times. But still she should have left with Fugui and taken her brother somewhere else where they could both get the black fox out together. Hate that she didn't trust him enough to keep the alliance at bay and help her without hurting her so called brother. She also put their entire city at risk. I know this decision is just so it can fit the plot for what's to come but still the way it was done is just out of character. Maybe they could have had them take him away together and have her brother escape in the process and she give chase. She could have then locked him up like she did to wait for ML to catch up after he talked to the alliance and sorted things out. That would have made better sense.
Preview for the ep where Fugui lands in the dimension place with just himself and hopefully no QC looks promising…
Same, was about to take a break and wait till all episodes were out until I saw the previews. I think I am going to enjoy those moments a bit too much.
And don’t even get me started about her brother. Why is he constantly drooling over his own sister? The writers…
They sure did. I know they aren't really brothers just from the same batch, but doesn't that actually make them related? Either way he just confirmed that he loves her more than a sister when asked about finding himself a woman, he said he only needed his sister and no one else. I never liked his character to begin with; he was just so gullible and kept getting hurt over and over.
This drama is the definition of wasted potential. The first half had me thinking I found a hidden gem… and then…
At first this series ran with perfection, the story was strong, serious, and had just the right amount of romance, comedy, and goodness. Now it's just villains appearing more on the screen than our main characters and support cast and tons of side stories. The villains keep winning and the story keeps dragging.
I am so done with Qing Tong, she didn't allow FuGui to take her brother putting her entire city in danger. What made her think she was stronger than our ML to take the black fox out herself? Ugh these past episodes have gotten under my skin. The bad guys keep winning over and over.
why tf its always qing cheng, i hate him so much now
Omg me too. Now every time he appears on screen, I'm like here we go again and I roll my eyes. Ugh give us more of the hero of this series and less of the villains.
I remembered tht fake lantern seller said, he inject magic into the lantern to make the fire long lasting even…
When they removed his sword meridian, they told him he would find it hard to move around. But I also think it is because he keeps using his blood for those lanterns like you said and to help the general with her spear and the fox.
Yes like i dont get what this non-sense hate toward Fugui, all the suffering he experience is coming from Madame…
Exactly. Like why not go with your sister and help Fugui and that way you can be with your sister all the time. I don't understand why it has to be one or the other. Like in the episodes where ML was recovering, she could have brought her brother over or checked on him. This would have saved him from being captured and tortured.
FL never told Qingcheng about the 10 years life. Right?
She only told him she would give him half her years, 5 years to give him a body. But he doesn't know who gave his sister her body or why she could even give him one to begin with. If he knew then his obsession would be toward the ML since he saved them both.
Edit: Omg the ML is Xiao Ge, I knew I recognized him from somewhere. And he comes out in The Spirealm. This is too much for my heart to take.
