Something tells me the chief is the one who killed TZ's master. He is studying the secret technique he claims the fox spirit hid when killing TZ's master. But my question is why was he so adamant in TZ being the next chief and not having any feelings. Was he planning on stealing his cultivation or taking over his body or something?

I would love to see them in the Heaven or Demon realm. Both deserve a leader who has their best in mind and can help the realms be happy. Get rid of the no love nonsense and have demons fall in love with immortals freely.

Was just going to mention the abrupt ending. I think they filmed this one and the next one the same time and just cut it at that spot. It feels very sudden and not like a stand alone movie of the series. I am sure once the third part comes out it will feel a lot more cohesive.

I agree. When he could see again he was ready to set things straight but asked her what she wanted to do. She made him go the round about way because she didn't want to hurt her sister so YY couldn't expose them because her sister would be hurt. He was left with only going the long way to save her and keep the truth of what happened a secret to protect YD's sister.
