I read the novel and I can tell you that BLQ never stated anything about hating women. I think he didn't do it with the purpose of hurting the sister. In his eyes they got married only cause she was pregnant and had to find a dad for said kid. BLQ never saw LXF as the husband of the sister as well as XF probably never thought of himself as it. To XF, LQ was like a saviour, always ready to help his family and someone to repay for his kindness.
In the novel, the last chapters, there are the 2 friends of BLQ (I don't remember the names but the one that helped him and the one that didn't like XF) that have a very nice conversation where the second asks "Why BLQ is with XF? He could have better but he always go back to him" and the first basically answers "Love is something that doesn't account for money or status. You can't decide"
