The writers messed up with the whole breakup thing. 1) YW gave up too fast. JH is clearly important to her and I don't think ASD people can simply give up on someone/something they love based on what others think. She didn't even try to explain why she was breaking up with him. 2) JH's reaction was also out of character. The sensible guy suddenly can't think of good reasons for the breakup. Did he forget what his sister said to him the day before? He thought YW could break up over dolphins! Seriously?? I just think this was unnecessary. They could bring the whole "feeling like a burden" plot without forcing a breakup.
There is so much that enamours me of this show, week in, week out. The level of depth that all of these key characters…
It's refreshing to read someone compliment AoS scriptwriting. I see you're like me and see the whole picture instead of fixating in particular points of the story. This show contains hidden gems only the smart ones can grasp. Plot-wise they had to compromise some things, but the story is a precious tale of love and friendship. Thank you for your comment.
