It's fast-paced, but the romance is slow burn.

I'm on my 30's and I love all the "fillers" that effectively show the characters' personal development. This is also a romance, you can't show sweet scenes during war, so of course they need to slow down sometimes. The only type of romance built in chaotic settings is tragedy.

Madame Joo Wol noticed Uk treats Mudeok in a special way, she teased Choyeon with that information. Mudeok did almost sacrificed her life to make them unlock his energy gate, so they think he keeps her always with him bc she's loyal.

True. Of the top 10 tvn shows highest ratings only Goblin is full fantasy. Mr. Queen has a touch of fantasy bc of the body swap thing, but it's not essentially fantasy. AoS is high fantasy, I think it's doing fairly well on the charts for the genre.
