It makes sense to use dark shades for a tormented character. Jang Uk is mourning his love, fighting soul shifters, and being haunted by their ghosts. I'm sure he's not in the mood to choose colorful clothes.

Jin Mu has the bells to control Naksu's soul, so if that scene showing Yeong with a big headache (😂) is related to the bells, then Buyeon is not in charge of Yeong's body 🙌🏻
