The stone is indigo color, which is a shade between blue and purple. The warm light makes it look purple. Maybe her energy is warmer now, not as cold as it used to be.

Unfortunately, no. Part 2 is the sequence, no reboot or something like that. Technically, the FL is the same, only the actress is different. But you can watch part 1 with the mindset that the FL will change in part 2 haha
