season 1 was so good that they decided to never let season 2 see the light of day

it's not about the age gap. since, we have watched him act as a high schooler so many times that it's hard to see him as a ceo. given his acting I'm sure he'll be able to play this out well too

Repetitive narrative? Familiar elements are added because it's literally the same show. Its not going to be a squid game if they make a romance plot. Depth? If we have watched the same show that you're talking about then, the characters do have depth that's why they took 2 episodes for the building of plot and the same 'depth' for the main characters because every character could not have the same depth(screen time) despite that we were able to relate with the past of many of the characters with the dialogues, which is enough for 'depth' and we'll more likely see that in season 3. You're literally digging up flaws from the show to prove your point when you forgot to mention the things that actually stood out like hello? The acting? The soundtrack? The games? The writing? Where are they? Even if you're so critical about character depth or nuances, your review should be somewhere around 7,not 5.

Some of them are actually criticising this show just because some one has already done that. And the reason? To stand out amongst the crowd or just hate on something that is garnering this much attention(sour people). I get people reviewing it bad based on their preferences but criticising the acting? The writing? Even the soundtrack? Hell nah!! Infact these were the things that actually stood out. And you can't convince me in believing the games were bland because as far as blandness is concerned the games were just as good if not better than season 1, maybe the people rating it below 6 are just too attached to season 1 that they can't get the same emotional attachment with different cast, which actually have a better dynamic, let's be real. The ending? Maybe?But since it's going to continue so not a big deal.

this is going to be a good watch, at least i hope so. the teaser is enough to let me know that the chemistry is there between leads, although they are not going to make it obvious about the romance as some of you might expect, but it's going to be very subtle. they can't change the entire plot to remove yuri, so we are going to get some of the scenes that are screaming romance. can't wait for this to air, i didn't like the pyramid game as much so i hope this is good.
