Them never getting back together would have most rational thing to do.......but NAW we have to satisfy the audience, who cares about ML emotional burdens, who cares if his sister died, who cares side characters getting treated like an objects for a plot, we just need ML-FL to kiss each other......cause that's what HAPPY ENDING meant to be🙃

This all seems pretty obvious from episode 3-4.....do we actually need SPOLIER tag for this simply predictable plot twist. ??😮‍

if actors wern't koreans or were actually not so good looking, this drama would never have crossed 7.5+ rating......i bet you.

one thing i got for sure.....writer cared more abut leads being somehow together than about the actual plot. Instead of pleasing the audience with ROMANCE BS , if they have actually focused on actual plot this could have been a good drama for sure.

even a rookie writer with actual sense , who knows how not to fall into the cliches and typical stuffs.....could have done a 100 times better job than this.

''her character was written.....' bro don't give us this bullshiit, sel improvisation is a thing too...i have seen various actress doing that, not in terms of dialogues but atleast with various emotional expressions ...but she was doing a poker face with her emotional reactions. ( i hope you just not simping for looks but actually judging them objectively )

damn it kept getting CRINGE and PREDICTABLE in 2nd half,

Another jdrama where motive for crime was so pathetic i laughed .

literally just watched 1st and last episodes and somewhat got the gist of entire series,
> that ML has some past (someone close to him died or something bad happned to him/her)
> so now he is whatever he is due to that
> ml is dorky yet smart , fl probably have some different view at start but later changed, both lead must have bickering all the type relationship
> cases per episode or two
> Ml past getting revaeld at the last few episodes
> forcing sympathy towards BAD guys as always.

i am not lying i concluded this from just 1st and last episode, because this is the USUAL FORMAT JDRAMA uses for detective or crime drama ( have a tleast seen more than 10-15 with same exact format plot)

FL here was like an 'zero emotions statue of idealism'......no feeling or anything in her dialogues or whatsever, hence annoying as fcuk. --__--

i had put this drama on hold after 8 episodes...so wanted to know , THEY WERE FATHER & SON RIGHT ? ML and that killer. (did they explored this thing or it just remained a PLOT HOLE)

i second that.......his acting level is always 10/10.
if drama is badly rated and He is the one playing ML.......then no doubt its due to a BAD SCRIP. (have watched his about 6-8 dramas....acting was always 10/10. like you said....the details he adds to a characters are phenomenal )

sure...some day in future, currently i am more into NO-romance dramas. ( have watched too much romance dramas...there were some bad ones too, . . .. .have reached the saturation point...maybe next time)

yeah man, i am/was more inclined to kdramas , i do watch jdramas but very less in compare to korean ones.....so this was surprise to me , the FL i mean.

today finished the entire drama........kimura takuya is an great actor i know that, but today i really fell in love with Female actress(MITSUSHIMA HIKARI) acting !!
Both were so natural , felt like entire dialogues were self improvised ! RESPECT!
