its seems too overlong. because people are not used to have 2 our episode of just Flashback, in every other dramas backstory are revealed little by little ( and since drama only have 12 episodes now, So everyone is frustrated that not too much of an episodes remained to watch ) . For me i have no complains.

from VERY far it may seem like that, but when you zoom into it then it will no longer look 'TYPICAL'. Try this out.....the visuals, the ost's and acting are top notch.

Exactly , the moment romance enters the plot....everything starts to fall apart, now romance is leading the storyline , now the plot will rotate around romance....original plot driving can now go to hell. LOVE is the way, now lead will do anything to protect his love...bla bla all this bullshxts. xD

well said , Such dramas are better without romance bullshxt.

But still i would say it partially episodic (if its even a word xD) , you can't just start the episode in the middle (like 3 or 5 or whatever) and understand the entire gist, unlike foreign shows. Cause cases are mostly totally unrelated there.......And here the cases here are separate but all are connected to Bad guys who died in this drama & jangan law firm. But i get what you trying to say..

Dramas is running at good pace.
But why there is no interaction between Jin jung and secondary characters( Eun ji & Joong do) at all? especially Eun ji , its been 5ep and they didn't even have a single word dialogue exchange ?? \0___0/

yup, there development looks more scripted than natural, i think writer goes like this
Ep 1-4........character will act like this
Ep 5 ...........character arc starts and he will change in a certain way cause of ML or FL 'talk no jutsu' hammered some sense into him
Ep 6-10........character have no use now so it can go back to do whatever the hell they were doing OR can follow around Ml/FL.

( The feeling that that it is adapted from the manga or something is SO OBVIOUS, like after certain chapter other characters comes and then fade away........its starting to feel like any other Live Action dramas as if they are acting straight out of manga, if mc is manga have some catchphrase or acting cringe.....then grown up actor will keep saying catch phase and will act cringe , i mean Come on you don't have to adapt everything ...he is no longer a comic character but a human in jDRAMAs who is no longer relatable due to weird things he doing now .)

At least kdramas does a better job using a side characters, even they are adapted from Webtoon but the way they handle characters appearances and screen time it doesn't gives a feel that they acting straight out of Manhwa panels .

I get the episodic part, but these are only some of 50-60 dramas which may have gave episodic feel. But unlike American or British dramas kdramas doen't feel that much episodic cause they focus on the characters life story with the same intensity ( even if the screen is comparably less.)
And most of them are like what you described in you 3rd para.

That's why i prefer staying away from romance dramas especially in jdramas .

And one thing did you notice like how Side characters(not SL's or SFL's) is most of thej dramas have no important at all after there storyline/arc is over....they either fade away in the background or sort of became NPC ;
like character which turned a new leaf in recent episodes, who used to be an asshxle.....will go back to be an jerk to other(but this time to the other side characters only). Pick any school life dramas or slice of life dramas...you will know what i am talking about.

So looks like another drama which started with good theme...but is going to use al the typical plots used 10 of times , couple breake apart, reunites, one of the Bf/GF......love traingle, current partner acting up (jealousy & shixt), ML/FL last second realization of TRUE LOVE(fated love....my destiny bullshxt) , and BANG HAPPY ENDING . (Love traingles are always frustrating...and jdramas are good at making it 10 times more frustrating )

if this drama is like none of the above mentioned stuff, then tell me..maybe i will start.

well japan writer are good at creating such annoying , uninteresting character.....whether its an jdrama or an anime

WOW what the hell bro ? xD , your opinion is as personal as it could have get.

SO you think its realistically not possible for a human to have change of personality as a result of past & traumatic events in his/her life.(also ML wasn't good with emotions in past), Try dwelling into the world of psychology a little bit bro....its not that uncommon for something like this to happen, it could be that they just wanted to change the way they lived there life in past OR it could be a defense mechanism so suppress the pain OR many other things.

My advice would be people to stop forming perception or prejudices about drama just from the TAGS , which are written by 1 guy or some minor group of peoples who probably unaware of exact gist of the story. Happened with me many times where i just started drama just seeing the tags and got disappointed cause i never got to see the simulations i was running in my mind.
Well further its you choice what to watch , drop it if you didn't like .

Well it does leaves an impact , i guess its a best 'plot device' for them to turn the atmosphere of the drama suddenly and get us hooked to watch further. Audience aren't hooked unless there is serial killing is going around or some suicide(staged) has happened , death by normal accident or stabbing is no longer impactful i guess ..............DAMN THIS SOUNDED LITTLE DARK. ((0___0))
