Not a kdrama person this is the first show of IU I am watching here just because of BWS heard IU is a great actor as for the first ep I am just 6 min into it and I find IU doing pretty good I feel she is just trying to potray how exhausted Hui Ju is being a commoner despite of having money and no direct power from that pov she has definitely done a good job in it BWS has not entered yet so will give my opinion after his entry but as for my pov for his character from trailer it looks good hope it actually is....

At the 12 ep this drama is extra sweet and the more sweet it goes in the start the more scared I am. As per past experience these types of dramas especially costume dramas have a terrible ending

Honestly if they hadn't changed the actress it would have been one of the hit dramas of the year the story was good LXY and ARP's acting was really good but the fl spoiled the mood of the drama when I first read the novel I felt Hong Ning was tailer made for yuan bing yan but... not blaming hu yi xuan she did her best but still. Chu Xuan Ji and Hong Ning's character are quite similar so had high hopes for it and love never fails was my first drama that i dropped in 2025
