I love both GZY and Jin Fan so my ass was rooting for both in that fight.

FL thinking of her raven as a mother had me in tears. She went through so much and yeah her raven is shown to genuinely care for her in a parental capacity 😭😭😭

SML is the most boring one note character in the show. Meanie bully who fancies himself a bit more cunning that he actually is.
SFL I like though. Her background is still all mysterious and can explain so much of her attitude. So far she is a competent spy and a great actress.
I still think she has more chemistry with GYZ than actual SML.

After watching the mv , I need a breakdown of all the fights and the stabbings . Looks like so many events are gonna happen. can't fathom how they will jam all of it in 24 episodes.

when they described ML's meridians, they said it was different from other people not weak. Couple that with his aversion to the cold , I think he might unlock some great power within him at some point.
also in his birth certificate, it was said that something was changed maybe it's related to this and not his parentage. we'll see.

I agree 100%. I know that bad boys who have zero respect for women are
popular in dramas because people romaticize the dynamic of mean boy pulling a girl pigtail but if SQ was indeed innocent his treatment would be horrifying. An d yeah as you said he was a bully since early on as a child when GZY wasn't even in the run for sword wielder .
His brother is at least funny with his jerk attitude (which I love and since there is thankfully no romantic angle to it yet) 🤣

GZY is the heart of this show. Everyone is calculating and bleek so I am glad our ML is genuinely a good person. He cares for others, grieves , values human life, remembers everyone's name, and knows his failings .
He is young and impulsive but he has no other choice but to mature quickly given the situation he is thrown in. I hope he doesn't turn jaded because of FL's betrayal at the end.

how hilarious is Gong Yuan Zhi. the way he mock bowed to widow of the previous sword wielder and only after seeing his brother bowing. Dude has zero respect to anyone besides his brother . LMAO I love him. my favorite character so far.

I wonder why Jin refused to accompany GZY 👀 They specifically said they could take a guardian with them.
