exactly. in these types of shows, characters seem grander than humans with all those powers and inner force stuff. So yeah refreshing that we have an ML that is full of humanity and has mental struggles that we can relate to.

I felt so sad for ML when he confessed to his brother that blood and killing messes with his mind. he is such a precious person. I know he is going to have to mature in the story but I hope he doesn't lose his kind nature.

I have zero second ML syndrome with this one. Fully onboard with the ML . him , Jin Fan and Gong zi shang are my favorite characters (yet).
The creepy smile of Gong Yuan Zi when Gong Zi Yu got slapped made me weirdly like him as well lmaoo.

I love his character. imo, compassion is the mark of a great leader and he has that in plenty. he i he lacks experience and I guess he better accumulate that quickly sonce he is basically in a vipers den. He seems to be a smart character so I hope he has a shot at proving himself and doesn't end in a tragic ending
