I saw your review about Day and Night. I think even my mom dropped it after half an episode. I didn't know it was a Taiwanese show. My mom has tried a few of the Taiwanese shows but she said they tend to be over dramatic and the pace seemed to be slow, we have tried a few of them in Disney+. She preferred Mainland China or Hong Kong shows.

I see about See Her Again. Yes, I think the Cantonese part somehow made it more "authentic" but it really depends on the writing.

I tried to get my mom to watch "See Her Again", she is tired of cop shows as she just tried to watch S1 of "Day and Night" and she said too many corpses. The beginning of "See Her Again" also has so many dead bodies.

I haven't seen "Milan" in other roles. "Ling Han" was certainly great in the Strange Tales of the Tang Dynasty so he was invited for the second season. He might be Kunwu, I just felt it was too soon to be revealed.

I think all the actors even for the small roles are well acted as well.

Yes, I currently love Chief Ke, Deputy Chef, and the other director who was afraid of Ling Han. I know one of them could be Kunwu but so far their characterizations are more realistic. We could still love villains if they are written well.

The problem is I'm using Mandarin subtitle as I watched with my Mom. Her Mandarin is much better than mine so that's why I missed some details, well, a lot for this show.

I was so far behind so I binged through 9-16 the day before yesterday, then 17-20 yesterday. Now I'm up to date.

I'm not too sure. I guess it was to save HQ. HQ changed the writing in the book, I think Wu Tong might say something to implicate HQ so he helped Wu Tong.
As for the bullets, I'm really not too sure what's going on. Need to rewatch or see some comments here.
