I have watched up to 32 but I don't mind spoilers as I have read the spoilers about the deaths earlier.

I also root for Men Sandao, Gege, Liu Lin and Lucky plus Sandao's friend from Imperial Manchu who tried to assassinate Prince Qi (forgot his name). I guess we're supposed to root for them as they are the "good" guys. Too bad all of them died them although some are off screen. Initially I liked Wang Jialou but I guess he was too rigid and stubborn.
I also love Men Sandao's arguments with Liu Lin, they would make great friends if they were to live.
I think one of my favorite scenes was in episode 32 where they were fooling around instead of talking about treasures.

I watched the first season 3 years ago so forget most of the plots. I plan to rewatch it so I can understand the second season. However, I saw WeTV had the "special edition" version with only 25 episodes. Is it the shortened or summarized version? Shall I watch this 25 episodes or the original 46 episodes?
