However, I saw WeTV had the "special edition" version with only 25 episodes. Is it the shortened or summarized version? Shall I watch this 25 episodes or the original 46 episodes?

The original novel is not BL, I think even in the show, it's not BL (unlike Untamed or Words of Honour)

It's still a great show with great bromance

I don't subscribe to youku so I watch it with regular schedule. I have only watched up to episode 10. I didn't know what to expect but the story is great. Didn't expect for me to get addicted and want to watch the next episode soon. They have a good balance of thriller, mystery, romance, and humor. Plus the characters are smart which is a plus.
