I have watched a few episodes of the new season but honestly, i dont see the point of it. S2 already wrapped up the story quite well, so throwing the lead characters into another game with a completely new set of players feels unnecessary. Most of these new characters are frustratingly stupid, i found myself wanting to smack them rather than care about their fates.
The final scene strongly hints that netflix is planning to expand the Alice in Borderland franchise to the USA, just like they did with Squid Game. Maybe thats the only reason this season even exists. While i will admit some of the games are creative and fun to watch, overall, this season feels bit disappointing. The story adds little value and the new characters only make the experience bit irritating.
E6 & 7 were absolutely explosive, packed with plot twists and the romance was incredibly intense. I really cant wait for the final two episodes next week, this one truly feels like the drama of the year.
This drama was engaging from beginning to end. Although a few elements didnt quite hold up logically, the overall storytelling kept me hooked throughout. The time loop concept was especially compelling, each loop revealed something new and added fresh intrigue, making the narrative even more captivating. The plot also carried more depth than what initially met the eye.
That said, i wasnt entirely convinced by the villain’s actions. His motives, supposedly rooted in love, felt bit weak and unconvincing, which slightly undermined his character arc.
Still, the drama remained exciting and well paced until the finale. I particularly liked how it ended on a cliffhanger, suggesting the possibility of a S2. Even if a continuation doesnt happen, the main mystery was resolved so i can view it as a satisfying conclusion. While a few characters fates were left unexplored, they werent central to the story so it didnt affect the overall experience.
It's that! I think the people who are hating this drama are watching just considering a normal friendship, as…
We often criticize characters and say things like, “That character is so toxic" or “They dont deserve the ML/FL.” But we tend to forget that the story isnt about what we want, its about what the character (ML/FL) themselves wants. Do they feel they still need that toxic person in their life or not?? As viewers, we often put ourselves in the ML/FL’s shoes and judge situations from our own perspective but in doing so we overlook the fact that the narrative revolves around the character’s desires and choices, not ours. Once we shift our mindset and see things from their perspective, the story becomes easier to understand and far more meaningful.
Imean if i were Eunjeong, i would never want someone like Sang Yeon as a friend. But does the real Eunjeong from drama feel the same way?? Not at all. In the end, it seemed that Eunjeong needed Sang Yeon just as much as Sang Yeon needed her. Thats why, in setups like this, characters we often call toxic or label as red flags still manage to get a pass.
Man, this show just keeps getting better with every episode. Its packed with drama from all kinds of genres, geopolitical drama as the main theme, family drama, high octane action and even subtle romance. Whats impressive is how well they balance everything at once. Despite the abundance of dramatic moments and intense situations, nothing feels over the top or forced. Instead, the calm yet dramatic way they present these scenes makes the tension feel even more powerful.
I also love how they are leaving no stone unturned by openly mentioning so many nations. 🤣🤣 I bet quite a few countries are going to be offended especially the US and China. The US is technically South Korea’s ally but here it almost feels like they are portraying America as the enemy of the Korean Peninsula while casting North Korea as the victim. Its a bold take and while there is some truth to it, i like that they are not shying away from showing something different for a change.
E5 ended on a huge cliffhanger and i cant wait to see how this war will break out in korea and how they will depict it. The upcoming episodes are bound to be explosive.
I have watched up to E5 and its been pretty solid so far. The story pulls you in right from the start and by the end of E5, i found myself eager to know what happens next. The mystery and thriller elements are tightly woven, making it very engaging to watch. It might be too early to tell but i cant help wondering if the FL could actually turn out to be the main villain.
E1 was quite fun to watch. I really liked the 80s nostalgic vibes. The friendship between the two female leads was adorable and their chemistry was very good. Although Heo Namjun looked quite odd as a high schooler, it was fine since he is such a good actor.
Love, Take Two is a heartfelt slice of drama that balances second chances at love, a sweet youth romance and a moving mother-daughter bond. The storytelling is simple yet touching, with strong performances and beautiful scenery. Every character feels meaningful and the ending leaves you comforted and fulfilled.
E2 was even better than E1 for me. While i liked Song Joongki and Chun Woohee for their roles but i found myself even more drawn to their younger counterparts, especially Nam Dareum. Its surprising that he is still confined to playing younger versions of ML's rather than being offered lead or at least strong secondary roles. He has immense potential but seems to be getting typecast, which feels like such a waste of talent.
That said, i really loved the leads school day backstory. It carries a melancholic yet comforting vibe that lingers and i found myself quite moved by it. The ML's past was quite sad but his bond with his little sister was portrayed beautifully. On top of that, the younger versions of the leads shared such natural and captivating chemistry that i honestly hope we get to see more of them in the upcoming episodes.
I enjoyed the pilot episode. This drama already feels like its going to be a comforting urban romance, much like the writer’s previous work Run On. Song Joongki looks good in this role and its great to see him in weak male lead kind of character after his previous heavy roles in Vincenzo and reborn rich. His pairing with Chun Woohee is promising, their chemistry has potential to shine. Overall I liked the pilot & im looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
I loved this movie. It was sad, emotional, full of life yet surprisingly fun at the same time. The second half does carry a touch of sadness but not in an overwhelming way, its the kind that quietly moves you, leaving your eyes moist with a few heartfelt tears. The story was simple yet deeply touching and the performances by every actor felt genuine and impactful. Overall i found this film far more memorable and moving than Love Untangled, which i watched recently on Netflix.
Every episode feels like pure agony and E6 shattered me completely. I have never despised a fictional character as much as i despise Ye Yibo, i just want someone to k*ll him already. He is utterly pathetic.

It was 9/10 for me.
