I dont understand why everyone is hating on it. Since i havent read the webtoon, it didnt feel rushed to me at all, it felt just as good as S1. Personally, i enjoy fast paced dramas with shorter episodes, so this suited my taste perfectly. Thats also why i loved S1, it was concise and got straight to the point.
Depends on ratings. Most business dramas didnt receive good ratings so they werent renewed for a second season.…
I guess i can put my faith in Signal 2 because its Kim Eun Hee who is writing the script. Plus i think they will only have 8 episodes to properly wrap up S1 so the script will likely be really tight with no filler.
As for Misaeng i havent seen any other good work from the writer besides Misaeng itself so im a little skeptical but i still have hope for it.
Personally i dont think Auditors will be renewed for S2. It didnt really hit double digit ratings, its highest was around 9.5%. They hinted at a second season but i honestly dont think it's happening. Maybe they will renew it for S2 in the future only if they feel like it just like Misaeng.
One thing i have noticed is that cable channels like tvN or JTBC are always hesitant to renew any show for a second season even if it had good ratings. Only SBS is the one who actually keeps renewing almost every other show for a second season. So lets hope JTBC will renew this show for S2.
What's up with kdrama's and average/bad endings. There has to be a second season because how do you explain the…
How come its considered as a bad or average ending? Didnt they resolve the main conflict of Season 1? That was pretty much the central point of the season and it concluded with Juno learning the full truth behind his brother's death and ousting Director Ha from the company. So honestly, this is the best conclusion they could have given to S1.
What came afterward was clearly meant to set up S2. Life doesnt just stop after one event is resolved, things keep moving forward. So even if there is no second season, it doesnt really matter. The primary arc of S1 reached its resolution. Everything shown after that can be seen as a continuation of life, not necessarily needing a neat or happy ending.
have any business drama renewed for another season before? ( I mean one without workplace romance.)
Depends on ratings. Most business dramas didnt receive good ratings so they werent renewed for a second season. But this one has a high chance because its (finale) real time ratings peaked at 26%, which means the finale could achieve double digit ratings around 11-13%, further solidifying its position for a potential S2.
Apart from that, Misaeng, one of tvN’s hit business life dramas from 2015, is making a comeback with a new season nearly 10 years later.
The show is good, the first two episodes were solid but things become quite monotonous at times. The writing is actually quite good but the limitations stem from the specific theme the drama is exploring. Since it focuses solely on the lives of OBGYN residents, it doesnt have the flexibility to showcase the high stakes medical cases or complex surgeries from other departments that usually make medical dramas more gripping. As a result, it cant tap into the elements that typically draw in a broader audience. This is one major difference you can notice between the original show Hospital Playlist and this drama.
That said, the writer is doing a good job within the limited scope. They are effectively portraying the challenges faced by the residents and it seems the story will eventually delve into how they grow and overcome their shortcomings which could make for an exciting watch. So with these limitations in mind, i guess its best to watch it with the right expectations.
Show ended with 15.1% ratings nationwide. This was huge success for both SBS & Park Hyungsik. So far this drama is highest rated drama of hyunsik's career as main lead.

It wasnt forced smile, Seon U was once innocent guy, once he entered daesan and touched daesan's corrupt money, he started becoming evil. The kind of treatment his mother received especially from deok hui forces him to become evil. Cant blame him.
There was actually curse, who touches daesan's money, automatically gets trapped in that cycle of greed and evil. Some actually commits crime for it and some pays price for their parents crimes.
Now the curse has passed on to next generation through Seon U. He will carry that with him.

Didnt you seen post credit scene?? Deok hui was actually in mental hospital. That was perfect punishment for her character.
Death like Ildo will do no good for her, she had to remain alive and endure pain of losing someone close to her till the day she die, only that will be perfect punishment for her. Why do u want very simple punishment like death for her?? Bcz of her Dongju become orphan, he is still living in pain of losing his mother, because of her eunnam lost her father, so how can simple death will do justice for her.

Taeyun was innocent but he had to pay for his parents crimes. Now you might ask why he had to suffer for something they did. Well, he was raised by them, he lived off the wealth they amassed through crime, so in a way, he bore the consequences of their actions. And didnt you see how his tragic death brought justice to Deokhui?? He was the only reason she kept going. Everything she did was for him. She even killed Dongju’s mother and Eunnam’s father so she too had to face the consequences. It was all her karma.
She also kept Seon U and his mother away from their family for a long time. She abused them. So what kind of ending did you expect for her??
He had to die in last couple of minutes becoz that was only way to punish deokhui.
Ok I just saw a scene of whee Seon U is pushing Taeyun down. It seems like in the last minutes of the ending.…
Have you seen how deokhui treated seon u's mother all along?? Obv he had harboured hatred toward taeyun nd his mother and his actions were results of that. Deokhui reaped what she sowed. It wasnt last minute ending but more like seon u was harbouring hatred toward them from very long time.
Idk why people are even angry or dissatisfied with Taeyun's ending. Everything that happened to him served as poetic justice for Cha Deokhui.
She inflicted so much pain on others, she was responsible for the deaths of Dongju’s mother and Eunnam’s father, kept Seonu and his mother away from their family and insulted Seonu’s mom. All of her karma came back to her through Taeyun’s tragic end. She reaped what she sowed. She insulted and physically abused Seonu’s mother right in front of him so Seonu always harbored hatred toward both Taeyun and Deokhui.
Deokhui got what she deserved. Her only reason to live was Taeyun and everything she did no matter how greedy was for his sake. So when she lost him in such a tragic way, it was poetic justice. Now she can finally feel the pain that Dongju and Eunnam felt when they lost their own parents.
Taeyun wasnt at fault but he had to pay the price for his mother’s crimes.
The ending was really unexpected but it still made sense.
Seo Dongju locking Yeom in the Deasan vault, stripping him of everything and only then releasing him to face jail time was a satisfying form of revenge. In contrast Cha Deokhui faced retribution in more indirect psychological ways. Seonu pushing Taeyun was a shocking moment and Taeyun’s tragic end felt like a symbolic punishment for Deokhui as a consequence of the pain she inflicted on others.
This drama delivered an ending far more complex and emotionally layered than i ever expected.
