It's just very suspicious. For a long time many Korean actors occupied top spots, but now, suddenly, there is only three Koreans in top20 but sixteen Chinese actors.

Hiring a super famous singer who lacks acting skills instead of a talented and more experienced actress, just to boost album sales (for the singer) and ride the wave of her popularity (for the producers), are all valid points.
