Haodu and Leyan had 1 hour 51 minutes in the same frame in the total series. Yes, fans counted. For second lead couple it's damn too little, not too much at all. I enjoyed watching them, and Changge's friendship with Leyan is one of the diamonds of this story. I don't see how they took anything away from gesun, especially after watching 3 or 4 episodes now, in which there were no Haodu or Leyan at all (missed them a lot, btw).

Sheer grieving over Sun is adorable! I am so proud to be one of the first people here to admit I like Sheer :D

I like that they don't only mention Yaro's death, but Sun is really sad and angry about it, and also worried about Khan. Actually, I appreciate that Sun's emotions are so deep and rich, while Changge in this part of the story seems a bit too rational.
