I'd like to see a 4-part special spinoff series of Pran's mum and Pat's dad' highschool days till that bit where he sabotaged her future. Bad Parents The Special Series. LOL
I don't get the ending. Pran owes someone an apology for what he said, but Pat should be the one crying on the…
There's some valid questions there that we, as the audience, can only infer.
But looking at how Pat as a character seems to be more "I-am-not-going-to-cry-heavily-but-will-let-a-few-tears-roll-down-my-cheeks-quietly-with-a-deep-sigh", the production thought it good enough to convey his pain.
Pran, on the other hand, could have been written as someone who suffered in silence for too long , so the production needed him to be the one that shows it big.
It's a contrast or balance between two leads having to deal with and show us their pain - one being a bit more subdued but killing us with his "under acting" and the other putting it out there for us, equally hurting us so much.
It could also be that idea that one has to keep it together for the other. If both showed their pain "loud & big" at the same time, it could appear "too big". Sure there's so much commercial value in bigger and louder expressions of anguish in confrontation and post-confro scenes. But finding and keeping the balance for the audience to feel and think (in this scene) I guess is what the BB team wanted to convey.
Also, two differently written character personalities, two different ways to cope with the shit they have been put through. But that doesn't mean one has less reason to be on that roof and cry. Both emotions are valid.
And yeah, perhaps some of us have been conditioned to consider the uke and seme roles in shows like this. Where one is stronger and one is slightly more vulnerable.
Unless Nopparnach and his screenwriting team explain this further to their audience in detail, we could only exchange inferences.
Given the odds that they have to be up against (feud), we feel more sweet pain because they are choosing to stick together.
We all yearn for that kind of love, where one would hold our hands no matter what sort of shit comes through. The kind of relationship where one or the other never has to give in and give, and would rather fight fight fight fight fight for this love.
The one in the GIF I shared were both Soraya Montenegro, the main villain in Maria La Del Barrio. Classic Mexican rags to riches and revenge telenovela. But it was in the 90s, so expect the video quality to be of no quality at all. And the hysterics will stress you out so prepare if you want to really see it.
At least it wasn't true. If it were true, we would have shifted to a Philippine soap opera where DNA test results…
I haven't got any playlist for the weekend, I guess I'll carry on with dev work (overtime without pay) to tidy things up on my project. i have been paying netflix subscription but haven't actually watched anything except for the second season of Emily in Paris
