If you look on Dramawiki, they list a voice actor if there is one.
I will. I have just come back from watching Maiden Holmes then came back to rewatch ep 10. Eyes closed to just listen. Wow Luo Yun Xi is clear as a bell when he speaks.
For some reason the slightly breathy voice with the slightly slurred diction and dragged out words are irritating me.
Addit- found 2 voice actors but unsure on which role she is in.
From what a gather of the ML's family: His mom is the actual princess because she is married to the prince and…
The mother inherited a title however it is or would be weird if Suolou inherited it because she is a female because females marry out. The title is to keep them within the royal family? I can't work out the logic because I can't work out if the male lead's father is the only man she married. He is a criminal only because he was framed right? The story will follow.
Is Sebrina Chen dubbed? I don't recall her sounding like this? That almost whining voice with the slight lisp is driving me slightly insane. I am about to mute her whenever she opens her mouth. Song Yi has an extremely high pitched and thin voice with perfect diction.
Then I hear the petulent, arrogant Suolou with that slightly slurred words whine. For some reason I keep seeing a bassett hound complaining low tone continuous dog whine instead. I can't see Suolou the character because I am distracted.
I know I am currently peeved over the whole last 30 minute in The Double. So hopefully I will like that character. I am about to spend a day or so watching anything or any random scene from Sabrina Chen and Ryan Cheng's other dramas. Just to get an idea of what kind of acting style they do vs what I'm seeing on screen.
I wrote further down the novel ending which explains everything
I looked. How mucj further down? I read a lot of comments about 5 hrs ago. Came back. Saw this and wanted to see what you wrote please?
I have watched all the episodes. Like others liked everything until 39.5.
I needed to see what everyone's narrative logic was for the Dai country war and episode 40.5
That's because up to that point I would say this drama has been totally gripping. I was quite stressed out watching in a good way.
I havr fruit trees in my house. And I saw the camera view looking at the inscription on the tree and saw how much it grew.
Then i saw the tree on the distance and her height in comparison with the height of the tree. Just writing about it has already pisses me off again. If the writer and the scriptwriter managed to write so well for so long; then how in the world did they lose the plot in the last 20- 30 minutes? It just went from excellent writing to brainless illogical scenes.
I have been very busy this weekend. I now have to watch the whole ep 40 ending again. I swear the ending for ep 40 did not lead to 40.5.
The drama was good for 40 episodes. A few jarring issues here and there but it was a good/ excellent Cdrama overall. I did like the Jiang family closure quite a bit. I don't understand the message from Consort Li- what did it mean? I didn't see the needless deaths of his 2 bodyguards. I swear when he bit to hold onto the pendant that he was going to die but then the next moment we have the cooing lovebirds in episode 40.5. I would have been happy with a bit of explanations how the Dai army campaign ended and how he returned. Then it doesn't SHOW it. I wanted them to show how the return was. There was no mourning for his men. Like " seriously? " So yeah my bromance ending has BUMMED me out big time.
I would admit that Princess Wanning gave me PTSD of all the psychopaths who justify their life decisions due to life being unfair to them. Honest to God I actually know people who use these excuses. Those who experience childhood abuse in whatever form and her action. The SYR ending was not totally unexpected but man that was some protagonist. I don't feel he is a secondary character. He was fully needed for this drama. I hope he gets a good role in his next drama. I hated SYR but the actor played him very well.
My god the twirling girl in ep 8 gave me PTSD from The Double.
So this drama will be full of cliches huh? Its only saved because of the excellent acting.
The writing is so cliched.
The Ghost Market took a lot of work. They have a lot or so many people in the scene and so many props to make if crowded.
So how is the main lead a Prince? I am confused. The chief constable was murdered? But he wasn't married but has a child- the male lead. Then how did he end up with the Princess? And he's not biologically related? Or is it? The younger sister confused me.
Also, if she knew her brother was a government official in the Inspection whatever why would a young girl go into a black market area? Is she stupid? Or rather written as yet another stupid 2nd lead?
considering that SYR + wanning started out with an established affair, it's no surprise they would have more screentime…
Yes but its a main role for each. I said screen time for SYR vs ZH.
Then as a couple. You need interactions to become a couple. Its not true that its a given that an established couple will have more air time.
Their storyline together is given quite a lot of screentime. The interactions individually as characters are also not as nuch as SYR. I thinm JL has the most screen time. I've never known a villian or 2 villains so well before. That's because they are always on screen. And big scenes too.
And that's twice now with horse dung and urine. Do uou knoe much it stinks?
I use horse poo as fertiliser for a couple of years. They give it away free near the race course or homes with horses near the race course.
Dog poo is less smelly. Even cow dung is better.
Either way the cure had horse poo and urine as a drink in ep 2.
I will finish ep 6 however I pray to God the leads have more relatable interactions or the cast chemistry be there. I had a look at the guest role doppelgangers and I am like " man there are so many. "
I will finish the 6 episodes because I like the first 5 cast members. They know to choose good dramas right?
However the writing and directing is a bit suss.
You guys are right the underwater scene is bad. Is the team behind the CGI just lazy or don't know how to swim?
The writing us pretty stupid huh? If the child is overcome from topical/ through skin contact with this Zornia then burning a whole field of hallucinogens is nuts. Ok brainless.
Zornia. So we are going with zornia latiflora then for this drama? How did they get the name from what I heard? Its not even a common Chinese plant is it? What did you guys understand if you know Mandarin. Mine is not good enough besides it being somr sort grasss.
Don't let me even talk about the fake burning or the plants being flammable. Sure burn it. So clever
Seriously the villains here are masterclass. SYR is something else
Everyone's characters here are written well. I've never seen so much time given to a villain that actually made me watch him rather than skip their scenes.
I went to Liang Yong Qi's profile. He hasn't been in a lot of dramas even though he is not young. He can act. How come he didn't get more roles?

What was that? The ending of episode 40 then the jarring ep 40.5?
What was that?
I was on tetherhooks wondering who would die from ep 37. It got bloody and terrible really fast.
So this drama will be full of cliches huh? Its only saved because of the excellent acting.

I honestly think SYR wins with more air time. Plus SYR with Wanning to make it the main couple..
Dog poo is less smelly. Even cow dung is better.

So again is this meant to be an expensive drama?
I went to Liang Yong Qi's profile. He hasn't been in a lot of dramas even though he is not young. He can act. How come he didn't get more roles?
This is quite frustrating.
But probably in fhe last minute. It better not though since we have a probable child.
I've watched a few dramas with great kisses but omg I regret watching it because the stories were stupid and lame.
