i genuinely want to ask you guys. if you watch a drama that you don't like or simply it just not to your taste…
You can just ignore it and I have done so.
However sometimes I watch a drama which has an electrifying chemistry but the side characters are terible. Or a story that is great but the casting or one of the main actors is terrible.
So you can't drop it but suffer through it. However I also depend on viewers to state what the exact issues are so I'd know whether to drop it or not.
I have sometimes whined about the translations because bad translations can make some really great meaningful line sound trite and diluted/mundane. The poetry of the moment is lost.
So yeah its not so easy to just not talk and drop it. I have dropped some dramas quietly before but its when I drop a drama which I've anticipated that makes me whine or critique it. I actually like to know the exact issues with some dramas and that helps me decide to either drop it or not start it.
I saw some people complaining about how fast-paced this drama is but it seems nicely paced. This drama is more…
I moved overseas when I was 18. I was naive, dumb and knew nothing. I was on an allowance and had to budget. It was so hard. Who has time to think of boys then?
Yin Guo was participating in her first adult tournament and she has this intense guy pursuing after her. Its lucky she had the discipline to continue her daily practice
We all know how fluffy and disorganised some female leads are in Cdramas. Thank goodness she is not written as a dumb as bricks female lead like so many others.
Then I moved to another country for further studies yet again in my late 20s and I was still dumb because the culture was so diffirent.
People need to give her a break. She did very well going to a country with a different language and she also needed to take public transport and speak more English.
Its hard adjusting place to place. I have moved jobs in 3 different countries, cities and states. Its really hard adjusting languages too.
Is this drama worth watching ,cos I'm on episode 1 and I don't really understand what's happening 😊
I think so. Continue watching to see him fall for her.
Gosh. He is pretty intense. And oh yes there are no screeching females or idiotic bosses or CEO nonsense.
And it kinds of reminds me of my youth when I was overseas by myself and all of us building our own little community. The Chinese expat community interactions are very heartwarming.
Yeah I've lost track of how many tall good looking male actors they are in this drama once I went past one dozen of them. Just how many people went to Finland as well?
i remember the wetv subs for that scene was “yin guo is my girlfriend.” did they change it to “yin guo is…
Er don't know. I semi- use the subs. I speak Mandarin not fluent so I understood the titles the other team members have been using. Then they went from girlfriend straight to " wife. " The WeTV subs are subs that was done for the flow where else I am in favour for the literal subs. I know how to tweak subs so it fits in the intent. That's why I notice subtitles as I use to sub Mandarin dramas. Because I like this drama I noticed the subs. Otherwise I'd skim and not bother.
Are they dropping 4 episodes tonight? Its ep 17- 18 on the 11th.
I only started this drama this week and on viki. I just went to the streaming site and only now realised I see ep 15- 16 up. So I have to watch ep 13 now. So ciao. Gosh I have freaking 10hrs of work related lectures tomorrow with specialist lecturers. All those clever clever people who have studied over 14 years for their qualifications.
Much as I love this drama can't afford to fall asleep.
Its the viki schedule I didn't realised it was 2 episodes behind.
Well let me introduce you to My Special Girl. Go watch that romance where it took 30 sec and he still didn't touch her face. Or rather the kiss didn't. Now that is irritating flirting.
There are other slow burn romances around eveeywhere.
Hey he got her into his bed 4 days after they became official. And did you see how fast he got her sitting on his lap?
I was impressed. I have high hopes for the boy to seal the deal. And the " elders " want them together. And literally everyone is calling her the small aunt and didn't she ger referred to as a wife already?
She is young though in the story at 21 years old. Isn't she going to be studying? He's finishing his Masters.
one thing I feel a bit iffy about if the way LYY does not communicate really well. like i can’t explain but…
Well he has no family. Cut off from all his childhood snooker contact. He never had examples if his teacher's reaction was an example. A child needs adults to teach them to model their behaviour.
Besides he already said he had communication issues in the first few episodes so he just bought her food.
He has way more issues than just communication methods to work through. He seems to adopt at patriarchal attitude towards his billiard club members. It fits in with him being under the chief coach He. I am not excusing him I am just saying its consistent in a psychological point of view.
I saw the reply. She was free post so I felt free to say what I said. I don't have the luxury of coming to MDL multiple times. The time where the new episodes drop on viki is also my evening time when I can come. I wanted to know when this drama ends
Angela- can I introduce you to timed comments on viki? You just literally spill every line that there is no time to avoid spoilers. This drama airs daily but I can't even come for hours so that your comments are buried and I can read some discussions. Weren't you in another drama like 2 weeks ago? I was avoiding it like crazy when episodes just aired to avoid reading. I tried to skim past it but some things were BEING SHOUTED and I couldn't avoid it. The thrill is lost when there is no surprise.
Hahaha. I now on episode 7 and I think her brother is handsome. How can he be so young? That means he was only 20 years old at the time of the filming,
Add on episode 8- add the 2 i/c in grey. The casting director is really casting a certain look and physique.
Lin Yi Yang and Meng Xiao Dong are too intense when they meet. They lock gazes and have this low tones.
I don't even watch BL dramas but I confess to feeling chemistry between those men. Are they friends in real life?

Oh well at least we have to be satisfied they did go all the way even its sanitised in the drama

I am on episode 13. The ML just said that " Yin Guo is my wife. " Did we get past the girlfriend part that fast?
Much as I love this drama can't afford to fall asleep.

man. What excuses would she use to avoid him?

So we have ep 15 and 16 tonight. Any episodes coming out Sun?
I saw the pictorgram. What does cherries and a crown mean? And I literally can't work out the ones for ep 21- 24 besides the love photo.
Besides he already said he had communication issues in the first few episodes so he just bought her food.
