Alchemy Of Souls gave a big shock to viewers by portraying an unconventional ending with resurrection of Jang Uk who lost his life earlier.

•Jang Uk, young master of Jang family in Daeho

Shortly after he was born, Jang Uk lived with his energy gate blocked by his father Jang Gang. Uk set out to find his teacher who would open his gate & met Mudeok, Naksu’s soul shifter & formed a secret master-pupil relationship.

• The owner of the King’s Star

Jang Uk was born with the king’s star, which means the fate of a king. contrary to Jang Gang’s wish that Jang Uk wouldn’t find his destiny, Jang Uk showed off his skills in front of everyone and showed off his presence.

•Jang Uk who embraces the ice stone

Uk who succeeds in obtaining ice stone only after losing all his energy, later promises to marry Mudeok & dreams of a happy future but loses his life after being hit by Mudeok’s sword, which was controlled by Jinmu. It gave a shocking ending.

Do i need to rewatch season 1 or will they provide an intro in season 2 reminding us what happened in season 1?…
Maybe a short intro with narration will be provided. It's better if you could rewatch at least important scenes.
