Yes, timeline was poorly planned. But it's very small matter which does not affect to the main story. We are okay with that.

For Buyeon being 21, Jang Kang had to get ice stone from Mama Jin, imagine one month before his soul-shift with the late King (when and how Uk was conceived) then Uk still had to live in Dohwa's belly for 9 months. I would say Buyeon also 1 or 2 years older.. I considered Yul and Buyeon as same age because they both seems to be a little older than Uk.
Daeho timeline has never been clear, I also noticed they've never mentioned the real age of characters except Uk , only Uk being 20 y/o was mentioned in part 1 beginning.

I think part 1 age,
Naksu = 25
Yul = 23
Buyeon = 23
Uk, Danggu, Choyeon = 20

I think Jin sisters age gap is around 3 years.

Hi Chingu, yeah it's indeed possible. I always think people same age with Uk are only Danggu and Choyeon. Others are all older.

Exactly, Naksu child actress look like around 5-7 years old when her father got soul shifted and died.
I think Yul and Naksu teen actors were chosen wrong too, they look like same age.
It's only way if Yul is indeed older than Uk (it might be a case).

It's a plot hole if you count Yul with them. Because Yul and Naksu were considered as same age (teen actors), and it also showed Uk, Yul, Danggu as besties since kids (same age).
It's one way or another, according to timeline logic, yes Naksu is definitely older than Uk (4 years or some say 7 years). Buyeon is older than Uk as well (1 or 2 years).
