I think they'll have to extend the number of episodes or it will be a rushed romance. They are 4 episodes behind on any romance if we take 1 OG to 2 Pinoy episodes

so far:

They've changed the fathers for both. Sec Kim's father lives with the sister and they are aware of the kidnapping so that's different. The reporter in this one goes way overboard in investigating what happened

In this one the brother is much more annoying and they have given him a 'sad' backstory of his own. He doesn't get on with the dad which wasn't the case in the OG version

the budget is lower so some of the activities aren't the same

There is more direct conversation between Sec Kim and Vice Chairman

President's secretary is more involved and has her own love story maybe (this is a new development. President also seems to know about the kidnapping in this one.

Instead of Oppa it's Ninja Boy

The kids seem older in this one

He's still triggered by the zip ties / cable ties but they've removed the spider thing so far. This is a lot less dark than the SK one.

I just spent the whole thing thinking SooHyuk deserved better parents and a better whatever toxic nonsense YoonDae was. Go get better for yourself SooHyuk! Don't settle for less

Yoon Dae is NOT likeable. He just uses everyone and is a grump! I hope he improves (on ep 3 when writing this.)

The ending of ep 20 is ... promising ;)

I skipped most of ep 19. Too much of the narcissistic brother not enough romance. I wonder if the episode number will be increased ??

I've noticed they keep the dark BL stuff for movies and not so much series in Taiwan. Not sure if that's an audience age / taste etc thing

anything above an 8 is great though especially given the slow pace which frustrated people and the themes
