It's a common frustration for readers that tv adaptations never live up to the novel, whether it’s because things just aren’t the way readers imagined. Or story is changed. Film is made for visuals, dialog, and action 'external'. Books are really good at getting into characters’ heads, ' internal'. It must be a hard job to be screenwriters and directors to adapt inner and external wisely. Obviously I am glad I am not one of them bcoz I don't think I can bare being roasted daily 😂. Anyway as non-reade, I am truly happy as is.

Agggrrr...... I thought Ziyu was becoming a good guy and I started to like him bcoz he is nice to Empress . But this ep 28, he put ML into the worst situation that he cannot do anything against. (I am sure Ziyu was happy to hear about decree sent by his grandma to ML). How is ML going to get out of this time. Well, at least FL title is much higher now jejejeje ! I cannot wait to see how smart idea ML will come up with!

I'm so glad this drama continues to focus on the relationship between ML & FL. That's why the chinese title '柳舟記' makes so much sense ! Deep down, ML feels FL still loves him, and we, audiences, see her inner thoughts here and there (her feelings towards ML). While I see their hidden love on screen, it tickles me (^O^) ML may become like simp, but he is such a fool who is in love, I cannot blame him. And he is still Lord of H who smartly plotting to succeed his mission. Lord H, you need to try harder to win her back ! I cannot wait to see more interruptions between ML&FL, and how he will do it!

I'm also waiting for that moment, but I'm sure it will take time becoz ML really screwed up for deceiving her. But I am enjoying the encouragement of these two and see how they get closer and closer!

Yeah it was funny. I like FL who has two personalty, LM as CJ's wife (sweet and lovable) and LW (strong and fighter). The story line made her such a unique character to be loved by ML and us!
