I'm glad you wrote me back. Now I know why ppl wanted to change how story went for S2 as drama. When I saw the title 'Lost you forever' I thought it suits well, that's what the original novel is about. .I think Many of Tong Hua's novels are heartbroken type. Did you watch 'Scarlet Hear'? That's her work. Most heartbreaking novel & drama I watched, but one of my favorite, especially Korean version.
Now I know why director changed and TH agreed to change the drama script for S2. Maybe many fan of drama didn't want to be heartbroken like you. The novel indeed ripped my heart out but that was the consequence that Gege had to go through. I think by loosing XY justified his actions which he tried to kill Jing. If Jing was indeed killed by Gege, I am sure many got heartbroken for XY or fan of Jing. But at least Gege is still alive and lost his most precious person XY in the book seems to be fair for me. For novel readers, the most highest point of story was kind of changed something easy, so it was disappointment. But I am okay with drama too. I was just so sad for XL, but that was his fate too.

Yeah MJTY was soooo good except very end (for me ). Their characters and here are totally different though. Plus story line / concept are very different. MJTY is original scrip by director so there is no book. Hoped for S2 but I doubt it... I loved the entier characters in MJTY ! Very exciting hot drama, but I love this one too becoz very mellow....

I truly understand you. Bcoz I experienced with LYF if you watched it. I read the novel then watched the drama. But many ppl were okayed or loved S2 story lines since they don't know what happened to Gege lol

I think we, audiences feel just like ML felt, he said and scene showed that FL was somehow distance and cold ;*_*; I guess director wanted us to feel the same way how ML felt, he is not sure and gives us(him) uneasiness! But I am sure she loves him... I hope...

As the drama viewer who didn't read the novel, I don't think there is no scene to indicate ML knew FL is LW until way later. BUT I happened to read the spoiler that wasn't hidden as 'spoiler comments' by multiple novel readers here and found out about it way early in the episode. It was such a disappointment for me. Oh well...

ep 20, it was funny. I truly love CP#2. They bring a fresh air and light comedic moment to this drama. I was worried if it became too dark, but it didn't. Well balanced editing!
