Welcome to C-drama world. I am with it about 6 yrs and still consider the beginner. This drama is one of the very unique and totally different style drama compared to most C-dramas. This director is very different too, and two other dramas of his, My Journey to you, Fangs of fortune and the movie called The yin-yang master. I love them all but some has very questionable endings. I also enjoy romantic C-drama too, but I like suspense fantasy more. I wonder if you watched ' Ripe Town ' ? That was another type of mystery drama I enjoyed a lot !
Just finished the drama. I am very satisfied with ending and this is the best drama of this director. Very unique story yet this one was very heartwarming! MDL rating is very sad number. And reading many comments here and one thing I noticed is people don't understand the story. I also had hard time in the beginning, but by the help from viewers analysis, reddit postings and blog posts, I got most of it. You need patience to watch this drama to solve the puzzles. I guess some people won't be a fond of such complicated story. Yeah, just like 'Three bodies', it was very complicated, too. Yet the quality of story reminds me of Isaac Asimov like, so as this one.
I am at Ep3. Does Li Yunrui will be in this drama? I only saw him little bit in Ep1. I thought he was the first billing but I don't see him at all. Can somebody tell me? Is he the main lead of this drama?
I hardly watch modern dramas but I came here bcoz unique story of modern era with ancient set up. Unique to see royal family dress up with beautiful Korean outfits, too. And I love female lead's cheerfulness character and opposit of cool sad looking male lead.
