Exactly and ppl blame jang gang for disappearing for so many years..they overlooked that he has solid reasons to disappear first of all he did AOS so his body started deteriorating already as he became a soul shifter so if he was still around ppl would have noticed that and especially jin mu would definitely take advantage of this if he stayed and park jin was also a loose cannon when it came to matters related to aos so he possibly won't have overlooked this condition of jang gang either

It's the perfect end wt ya on about...it couldn't have ended any other way and they indicated..it's hopeful too...the reason why thrs no sequel is because the script of the original scarlet heart part 2 is also lackluster and it didn't do well in china like it went down real bad unlike the original first season which was a super hit.. Furthermore Korean version god knows why wasn't that popular in Korea unlike it's immense international popularity
