Honestly I have read the legends Novel here n there and the live action adaptation is a failure that didn't adapt novel well in the second half otherwise it would have been a big hit. Fortunately it had Bai lu nd xu Kai both leads pairing saved the failed adaptation (sorry if I am harsh as it's one of your favorites but these are my thoughts) still I gave it a 8 for the leads romance which was the best part, the legends surely lacked the budget also wish they did that series justice it definitely had potential. And Bai lu isn't in ancient love poetry but she will play the character Yue mi from ALP in the spin off chasing the moon

So this is one of those rare works where leads end up with secondary chars woah I need to give this a try

Leo nd Reba again hmm it's rare for actors who have already worked to go for a future project again only exception I can remember is xu Kai and Bai lu nd during there second project Bai lu faced a lot of crap by lots of toxic stans

Till the end of the moon is a very good series imo if they didn't shorten the eps count it would have been even superior imo TTEOTM is better than Love between fairy and devil in lots of things still the male char from LBFAD is one of my most fav. If only the love between fairy and devil handled the last arc better. you should give it a go you might enjoy it more

Ancient love poetry has also two upcoming series connected to it with one having one of my most favorite actress Bai lu(chasing the moon) and the other having Zhao lu si and wang an yu in the last immortal (I have watched only one of his works with Gina Jin named Falling into you I liked him there)

TLB - the long ballad, believe me ALP is very good storyline its 50 eps afterall so you can't figure out the overall plot before watching the first 15 episodes or so as they are the setup / very good char development both antagonist side, it has one of the most natural developed antagonist /great fight scenes / top cgi nd moments packed series just start it again ALP is no way like eternal love I didn't enjoy eternal love dropped it way back but I still enjoyed the spin off eternal love of dream

Rurouni kenshin is another one that did justice I was honestly disappointed by Fullmetal alchemist, bleach one was OK they couldn't really do that one fully adapted, blade of the immortal was also not that great, death note movies were also good in there own ways, Tokyo Ghoul was also not the best,Kingdom is still alright wish they could have invested very big budget for a series version it would have broken game of thrones to pieces nd surpassed it if done correctly fully adapting the manga without censor but it would take a huge commitment and 30 seasons lmfao as manga has almost 800 chapters and still ongoing , Gantz also could be a franchise in itself but it's already ruined , let's see the upcoming yu yu Hakusho idek how they will give it same feels as the manga anime there are so many more lol I can't list them all here
