Yay or Nay
It really wasn't horrible or anything just not what I expected to be. After all the hype about it I expected a high quality, super thought through, challenging drama, which I didn't really get.I did get something and it had it's moments and I do understand why it was/is popular and I will watch the second season, but the only thing that made me pull through the whole thing was the police dude I forgot the name of.
I think I would have enjoyed it much more without the hype and expectations I had.

Don't get me started
Caution!: I never read the Manga nor watch the anime so this is purely based on this experience! The Characters? Great! The actors did their job perfectly and the whole experience was great! I binged it right after I binged Sweet Home and both were the best thing I ever watched.
There is only ONE thing that bothered me. Nijiro's (Chishiya's) wig. Like whoever made that happen like THIS, jail time for you. But fortunately it didn't influence the top notch acting.
I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the actor portraying Karube is the same as the one from Cherry Magic (watch it, it's great) and the one portraying Arisu is L from the 2015 Death note drama! (Must watch too ;3)

Great
I think it was great. I loved the acting from all of them and the survivors all felt like the main characters as a collective not just the one. However, I'm really upset about the ending! Everyone survived the huge ass explosion, but Chicken boy didn't?!
I'm actually clueless about how the second season will go. Maybe the adventures of the class president?
Anygays, the bromance between chicken boy and his besties (popular guy and toilet seat bro) was nice to see and I think popular guy and chicken boy had a better chemistry than the name tack girly and any of the two.

Well it's some kind of Death Note
It of course has resemblance with the Manga/Anime but it's difficult and I like it.I started watching it because watched a few edits of it.
The general direction is the same as the original but the approach is different. More human.
The interactions are better and the explanations way more clear.
It honestly felt like a boy's loveivation of the Anime without making them do anything specifically romance. I liked it because I usually just watch BL
The story was of course nothing new, which made it predictable but that's no bother and should be expected.

Beautiful
This was my first ever K drama and I couldn't wish for sometime better.I liked it very much and cried a lot (no spoilers though;3)
I have and unauthorised fable for military dramas/guys since I watched that.
And I love when someone shows off with skills and knowledge which they do a lot here.
On top of this it has humour at all the right places and a brilliant bromance too!
I don't really wantch straight romance dramas anymore but once in a while (mostly when I need comfort-) I come back to this and enjoy a good drama :3

Must watch
With a great Webtoon there is little to fuck up if you follow it.The soundtrack is absolute the best thing ever and I do listen to it a lot. The characters are visible and even if they only have little to do or say one feels connected.
I felt every emotion and can't wait for a second season to see what happens even though I did read the Webtoon.
Only thing that bothered me was the relationship between Hyunso and Eunyoo but that's a personal preference because I'm way too into BL stuff x3.
PS: Jeaheon is hot.
PPS: So is Eunyuk
PPPS: and Hyunso.
ok bye.

Really cool
The action scenes were great and so was the story but I'll have to mention that the patriotism is noticeable.Nothing to be upset about but sometimes it made me cringe a little.
I loved the female characters and how they easily kept up with the guys and how the dynamic was.
The casting seemed fitting even though I don't know any of the actors.
The only aspect that really bothers me is the length. It's too long for my taste. It isn't stretched or boring or something like that but I'm personally not the biggest fan of long dramas.

The first season was better...
But! This season wasn't bad at all!(I'm bad with names so you gonna here a lot of explanation la of characters, I'm sorry)
Hyunsu is still so unreasonably hot, even though he isn't really present in this season. I mean he's there but the story rarely involves him.
Most of the original main characters died or turned. Eunhyuck didn't show up which I'm really sad about. But there was a hot priest but he wasn't really priest-y. Firefighter girly turned too but she had a monster daughter in the meantime. Hyunsu raised her though.
Eunhyucks sister (I can't remember her name for my life) is about the most of a main character we get.
There are also new storylines like the military dudes in the new camp (where the few still living og's are) and one particular military dude park so and so (can't remember his name for my life either). He's *so* fucking handsome you don't even know. Oh and somewhere in there is a half lunatic doctor who researches the monsters and the monsterasation.
The acting is good as usual, but the storyline is a bit all over the place. I never read the Webtoon sonI don't know if the plot is accurate but I had to get used to the new stuff. Could very well be a me problem though.
All in all I think you should give it a shot. If you loved the first season you'll enjoy this one too I think :3
