That actually isn't true. Yangzi herself has said many times that she doesn't care if it is an idol drama or not. As long as she finds the storyline good and her character also well written she will take the drama

Bai Ju, who grew up in the Gobi Desert, was moved by the selfless dedication of the Bai family and was nourished by this simple land. Tbh I don't think the Chinese government is that stupid to not notice the 'changing of names to air them quickly' plot. FP and ITNOB are cultural heritage dramas are were filmed to serve a purpose ( a purpose the drama is serving well) if you notice FP was aired during peony planting season and now ITNOB will air peony blooming season which is definitely not a coincidence but something that has been planned for
season 2 come faster ๐๐ฝ
