What @LanLan said and also pay attention to a lot of the dialogue between her and her friend, they talk about it. You will hear her mention something similar coming up in the next few episodes after that, I can't remember exactly where, but Shu Yi does talk about it.

I loved that scene, but the " She wants cake" is a favorite too. LOL

I do have to agree with that, it is the only thing about this drama that bothers me. It doesn't catch my attention or make me want to pay attention to those scenes. I am a bit confused by it all honestly. Like who is investing with who and why and contracts and meetings etc.

I am excited for the 3rd couple. I love watching Miles Wei and he does so good in these more boss/professor type of roles.

I am a Bai Lu & Xu Kai shipper, loved their dramas together (granted they haven't been in a drama in a very very long time), but I have enjoyed all her dramas with other leading men. I am definitely enjoying her drama here with Dylan Wang, actually it reminds me of her interactions with Xu Kai, so this is very nice to see.

I agree. I loved Ep. 9 and 10. "She wants cake" LOL, I loved it. I am enjoying this drama a lot and the supporting cast is nice too, they aren't annoying or anything. I also like the fact that Shu Yi is smart enough to know when her colleague tries to mess up her situation (like the invitation and going to the interview, etc)

exactly!! I am really enjoying his aloofness with her and us knowing he really does like her, but her not really getting it. Their interaction is a bit different then most tropes.

At first she is doing it for revenge against her ex boyfriend, because she thinks the girl her ex boyfriend is with is the niece of Shi Yan. Now I think she is starting to develop real feelings for Shi Yan. He has already had feelings for her from a couple of years ago, he actually knows her and who she is. Shu Yi does not know that Shi Yan's real niece is working for her.

Me too! One of my biggest reasons, I don't watch ongoing dramas that much. I love to binge watch and when dramas have a few days of not airing I sometimes lose interest.

Me too, I was confused about the niece as well. So Bai Lu's character thinks that his real niece is the one who stole her boyfriend? But she isn't right?

Hey there, yes I do! I haven't been posting in quite awhile. I have been catching up on a lot of Korean Dramas lately and none of the C Dramas have been keeping my attention, so glad this one is out.

I really hope this drama continues to be good. I have stopped watching C Dramas lately because none of them have been keeping my attention.

I loved her little dig in that bakery shop, about second hand goods or whatever she said, lol.

I look at she was way to focused on her career that little things like that she didn't think about it, it was more of an afterthought that she even noticed it.
